Overview

Visit Croatia's first national park, Plitvice Lakes National Park, one of the greatest natural wonders of Europe. Also, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the park's unique geology makes for a popular destination for people from all around the world. Meet up in Zadar and be greeted by your tour escort and board your transportation for the day. While driving to the park, have the chance to enjoy the beautiful Croatian landscape. Upon arrival to the park, you will be given a map of the park and told about the day's itinerary. Then, have 4 hours of free time to explore 16 beautiful lakes of crystal blue-green water and hypnotic cascades, tour 7 different routes, hike 4 different trails, or just lounge in the shade. For the Zadar Old Town walking tour, meet at 6:00 PM (any day) in front of Novi Cafe in Zadar, beside the Roman column (Trg Petra Zoranića). No reservations are needed.

A very beautiful hike around all the waterfalls and lakes. Bojan was a great tour guide; he picked a route that ended with a fantastic view! If it it’s raining, bring appropriate clothes and shoe.

An amazing experience with some of the best scenery we have seen. We are both in our 60's, not 100% fit but we managed quite easily. Bojan, our guide, was so helpful and he made our day enjoyable. If you are contemplating doing this, just do it. We are both so glad that we did. It is magical. We were taken in a train shuttle to the top of H trail, which we then walked. We had a boat trip across the lake for a lunch break and then walked to the large waterfall before meeting back with our guide. So much fun.
