    Board the world-famous Bernina Express, a unique panoramic train. This extraordinary journey traverses breathtaking scenery, with spectacular views of snow-capped mountains, glittering glaciers and enchanting Alpine valleys. The UNESCO World Heritage route of the Bernina Express offers an unforgettable experience as the train climbs to an altitude of 2,253 metres on the Bernina Pass, one of the highest points reached by a railway in Europe. Passengers will be able to enjoy the panorama thanks to the large windows in the carriages, designed to offer a full view of the landscape. During the journey, the train will pass iconic sites such as Lake Bianco and the helical viaduct of Brusio, guaranteeing indelible memories. This journey is not just a transfer, but an immersion in natural beauty and Swiss engineering. An experience not to be missed!

    The highest point of the itinerary! It opens up before you a landscape of immense beauty, so much so that it has inspired many romantic writers in the past. Touch the sky with a finger and enjoy the breathtaking panorama.

    It's time for a ride! The train will transit on the Brusio Spiral Viaduct.

  • Tirano (Pass By)

    Tirano is a small corner of Italy, on the border with neighboring Switzerland, with authentic flavors and slow rhythms. The largest Basilica in Valtellina is located here. This is the Bernina Express' last stop.

  • Milan (Pass By)

    Back to the meeting point through the streets of Valtellina.

  • IMPORTANT: During the winter season, the Bernina Express route may offer partially obscured or less visible panoramic views due to shorter daylight hours. Departing at 4:14 pm from St. Moritz and arriving at 6:39 pm in Tirano, the journey's timing may limit daylight scenery.

Excellent tour. We were lucky to have a sunny day with clear skies. And as it had snowed in the previous days, the landscape was fabulous but the trip could be done in complete safety. The stay in St Moritz was pleasant. But the highlight of the trip was the descent to Trentino on the Bernina Express. One last word to thank our tour guide. Monica you were wonderful, Thank

A MUST excursion while in Milano

Highlights include some of the most spectacular, unique scenery in the entire world, a friendly, informative and entertaining tour guide, and a professional bus driver who expertly traversed an extremely challenging route. St Moritz is cool, but most stores and restaurants were closed during our lunchtime visit. Bottom line: highly recommended, as the train ride will provide breathtaking moments.
