    This tour will start from your accommodation in Barcelona. Your guide will pick you up at any apartment or hotel in Barcelona, you are staying in.     In the ancient part of the city, you will marvel at the Girona Cathedral. Its most strikng feature is the 23 meters wide nave, the largest of its kind in the world.

A fabulous day trip filled with enthusiasm and interest!

Our guide, Dulce is extremely well informed and easy to talk with. From the moment she picked us up with our driver, Wander, we were impressed with her depth of knowledge in great detail about everything we saw from the history of the area to the specifics of Dali’s life. Many guides go through a rote performance of material they have memorized, but Dulce had actually lived in the areas and spoke from the heart. My wife and I bombarded her with questions and were astonished at her eagerness to answer and we could tell she actually hoped we would learn something from the trip rather than just go through the motions. Wander drove us safely and comfortably through the whole day. We knew we were in good hands and enjoyed every minute.

Great tour! We learned so much about Dali, his life, and his muse, Gala. Then we spent the afternoon touring Girona with a guide who actually lives there. Her recommendations on lunch, coffee, snacks were wonderful too. We had a very enjoyable visit.

Girona was wonderful as an old medieval city, I liked the part about cyclists adopting it. Our guide was OK, didn’t add a lot of information. The Dali museum was excellent, our guide went in and got us started, and found a fantastic restaurant in the town.
