Our regular meeting point will be in Jardim Manuel Bivar, next to Restaurant/bistro "O Coreto". A 6 passengers white tuk tuk and respective guide will be there at the meeting time.

Itinerary

  • Old Town Faro

    Our tour starts in Manuel BĂ­var's garden and from there we head to the city's old town. There we may see some of the most interesting buildings of the city, amongst them our Cathedral, and get to know a great part of the history of Faro.

  • Alameda Joao de Deus Garden (Pass By)

    We will pass by the main garden of the city centre.

  • Ermida de Santo Antonio do Alto (Pass By)

    During the tour we will reach the highest point of the city, where we have Santo AntĂłnio church and its special tower.

  • Mercado Municipal de Faro (Pass By)

    During the tour we will pass by our colourfull market!

  • Teatro das Figuras (Pass By)

    While exiting the city, we will pass by the most modern side of Faro, where we have our modern theatre

    After leaving the city, on the way to Faro beach, we reach a small location called Gambelas, located in one of the borders of Ria Formosa Natural park.

    While going from Faro city to Faro beach we will pass and enter Ria Formosa Natural park

    On the way to Faro beach, we will have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the natural park in which it is inserted. Upon arrival we will take a 5-10 minutes break to apreciate the ocean and white sands.

A great way to view Faro if you are here for a short stay.

Arrived at the hotel a few minutes ahead of schedule. A short safety explanation, and we were off. Our driver took us to many of the secret locations around Faro. He was very informative and funny. Then we drove to the beach, the other side of the airport, stopped for a short while for a drink and view of the sea. Finally, returning us back to the hotel. As we were here only for a few days a great way to see and absorb the history and culture.

Excellent afternoon! The tour was good fun, lots of history and attractions were pointed out along the way. The host was brilliant, very friendly, and knowledgeable. He did something extra special for my husband who is a big motorcycle fan! Would highly recommend.
