Volcan de Lodo El Totumo

We pick up the guests and take them by air-conditioned bus for 1 hour to the Totumo volcano. Our guide will explain to you what you will do and the recommendations you should have when entering, after which you will have 15 to 20 minutes to enter your relaxing mud bath and enjoy this new experience, on the other hand at the end of this stage They will have the possibility of having a bath in the Cienega del Totumo which is fresh water and finally a delicious light breakfast.

In this place we will dive into a great adventure in the middle of a forest surrounded by nature where you can connect and relax while enjoying a delicious cocktail, surrounded by beaches and rich pools until waiting for a delicious lunch which will have 4 options plus a light dessert. In this cute place you will have the opportunity to have fun with various activities as it has soccer or volleyball court, water polo, playground, slides, and other services that are additional, this is a perfect plan to enjoy with family and friends

Due to its natural properties from its origin, this sludge has explosive properties, which the TSA will point out if you have a connecting flight when returning to the United States. I could keep it, but additional screening measures were needed before TSA clearance.

Great Tour!

The tour was exactly as described. We were picked up at the clock tower in Walled City and proceeded to the mud tour. After the mud tour we proceeded to a beach club where the included lunch was provided. There was a pool and chairs to relax. There was also a bar. The beach was just a few steps away. The lunch was very tasty! The guides were very helpful. We really enjoyed this tour and would do it again! Please consider these things before you go. - Try to get off the bus first so that you can make it to the mud pit first because the line gets long - Bring a towel - VERY IMPORTANT: Be sure to have small denominations of Columbian pesos (4 -5,000/per person—we were told about $20K Colombian pesos total) to tip. At the volcano, locals are there to help you along the way. Someone will take your towel and shoes (5K CP)to wait for you after the volcano and lake, someone will use your phone to take pictures (5K CP), someone will give you a massage in the volcano (5K CP), someone will rinse you off in the lake (5K CP). We were told the USD conversion was $9-10 (because the location was remote) for all services. The services were very much worth the money and you have to pay or they will come on the bus to collect!

Our tour guide was very detailed and attentive to our needs. He constantly asked if we had any questions throughout the tour. He ensured that we were safe on both tours. At the beach, he ensured that our lunch and welcome cocktails were ready and to our liking. I also enjoyed the birthday surprise!
