This shared tour lasts about 2 and a half hours, visiting the main squares, churches and important scenes of the walled city of Cartagena. This is the best way to learn about the history of the city and understand its impact on the current dynamics. You will learn to dance Champeta, Salsa and we will play songs with the gentrification that is lived in Gethsemane. Robert is the best tour guide you can find! We had an absolutely amazing time! The tour was super fun, yet we learned so much about the city. Robert always made sure that everyone is feeling good, he shared tips and recommendations, and made sure to find a great balance between jokes and information. Best tour you can find in Cartagena! (Make sure to also go to the food tour!!)

Very informative walking tour. Mercedes was very knowledgeable and personable. We did the 4 pm tour and while it was hot at first, it gradually become more tolerable and the sun went down.

Alvaro was knowledgeable and ebullient and provided a wonderful introduction to Cartagena, encompassing indigenous, colonial, and enslavement history, nature, and contemporary social context. He conversed readily in English and French as well as Spanish. Despite the very hot weather, the 2 1/2 hour tour went by quickly. Alvaro left us with some excellent recommendations for eating and drinking for the rest of our stay. It was a highly worthwhile experience!

Mercedes was a great tour guide! Her energy made the tour extremely enjoyable. Love how she taught us to dance at the end. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a day of seeing the old city with great photo opportunities!
