Overview

Let's go on a walking tour along the magnificent city walls of Dubrovnik and view the city from a different perspective overlooking the major historical landmarks and hear about the history and the way of life in Dubrovnik through many centuries up to now! Walk along the ramparts and step back in time, losing yourself in the grandeur and beauty of this culturally influential city. Beginning from east gate of Ploče we continue the entrance of the city walls near the St. John's fortress and start our guided tour of the city walls stretching 1940 m (6365 ft.) enjoying the view of the streets, houses, palaces, fortresses, monasteries, including locations that were used in the filming of the Game of Thrones and much more. Take in the beautiful sights, and listen to stories and remarkable facts through the many centuries of Dubrovnik’s dramatic history, including the recent past during the Homeland War. Let me take you on an adventure through the Old City in a way only the locals know!

    Listen to the history of Dubrovnik, procced to the entrance and start the walk of the walls.

    View the sights the old city harbour, Fortress of St. John, fortifications of St. Luke and the Dominican Monastery.

  • Buza Gate

    Ruđera Boškovića street of the Buža Gate, Peline street, lower wall and the moat. The roofs of the old city.

  • Minceta Fortress

    Climb to the highest point of the walls, Minčeta Tower. The last Depozit and the aqueduct. The Upper Corner.

  • The Franciscan Church and Monastery

    The Franciscan Church and Monastery, Large Onofrio's Fountain, Church of the Holy Saviour, The Stradun (main street) and Pile Gate (west gate).

Excellent tour, highly recommend

Mia is an excellent tour guide. We were a family of 6 adults :) the tour went around the city walls with all the explanations and recommendations. Mia speaks perfect English. We had a very good time.

Wow. Mia was amazing. Kept in touch with us leading up to the event and even was very helpful. It changes the times when we were looking to make it earlier. The tour was amazing. She showed us so much of everything around the walls and was very patient with us while we were on the wall, asking questions, I would recommend this tour to everyone. It was so much better doing this private tour. Some of the large groups couldn’t even hear their tour guide speaking. Mia was a pleasure and so knowledgeable of the area.
