Excellent would definitely recommend lovely friendly guide. Very entertaining great way of seeing Lucca. Very reasonably priced! You need to book ahead to guarantee your place.

The Perfect tour of Lucca

We had the a really great time with Luigi and his kind and clever, knowledgeable owner, Marika (I’m not sure, that was her name - So sorry about it!) It is a perfect way to explore that charming town, it is a gem! I wanted this carriage to be just like this - fun, interesting, and packed with lots of (but not too much!) information about the gorgeous Lucca. My 3 year old and 9 month old babies also liked it. They enjoyed the way , the whole town handled Luigi, he is a true superstar in Lucca!

Absolutely recommend this carriage ride through such a quaint Lucca! Our tour guide was amazing! Loved her horse Luigi! Our group was large but she was able to accommodate us perfectly! Very personable and informative! The highllite of our day!

While waiting for another tour in Florence, we talked with a group who talked about their carriage tour in Lucca the day before. On their recommendation, we booked the tour with Monica and Mario (the horse) for the next day. Totally enjoyable and informative—great way to learn about Lucca’s history while touring the town. Mario is a charmer! Highly recommend.
