Overview

On this small group tour, take a journey into the county of Kent. View the famous White Cliffs of Dover, explore Dover Castle, and visit historic Canterbury. This tour includes either a walk along the cliff-top or a walk along the beach to view the White Cliffs (weather dependent – your tour manager will advise on the day), entrance into Dover Castle, visit to Canterbury and entrance into Canterbury Cathedral, luxury coach travel throughout and the services of a tour manager.

  • Dover Castle

    Our Tour Manager will introduce you to the history of Dover Castle and then you will have free time to explore. Visit the medieval war tunnels or The Royal Court of Henry II or the World War II underground hospital.

  • The White Cliffs of Dover

    We either walk along the top of the famous White Cliffs of Dover, or view them from the beach, depending on the weather.

  • Canterbury Cathedral

    Entrance and tour of Canterbury Cathedral then free time to explore.

Great Trip to Dover and Canterbury

Fascinating visit to Dover Castle, both for the older history as well as the more recent WWII history of the place. The cliffs were beautiful. Canterbury Cathedral was very much worth a visit for both the beauty and history of the place. The city of Canterbury is charming as well. Haley was a helpful and knowledgable guide, and Grant drove smoothly even in more crowded driving conditions. Highly recommend!

A nice day trip from london

This was a packed day, but so worth it to get outside of London for a day. The tour guide was knowledgeable, but gave us plenty of time to wander on our own too. Be prepared to be tired at the end of the day though.

Canterbury Cathedral was magnificent, and the White Cliffs of Dover left us speechless. Our guide was knowledgeable and kept everything on schedule. The coach was comfortable for the journey. We loved having free time to explore both locations at our own pace. Worth every penny!

Great tour and knowledgeable guide

A very knowledgeable tour guide, who gave us all sorts of facts all along our drive down to Dover. Very helpful getting us all set for our time in Dover Castle. Ready and waiting when we gathered up to depart. Shared even more great facts en route to Canterbury and made sure we made our way through the city to the cathedral before letting us explorefor a few hours. Also waited patiently when I was a few minutes late back to the bus having gotten rather lost. I would recommend this tour to anyone. It was worth every cent.
