Overview

- Vam Sat Eco-park is placed at Ly Nhon ward (Can Gio district, Ho Chi Minh city), about 30kms away from Binh Khanh ferry terminal to the south. Vam Sat was formed from a campaign of reforestation for Can Gio forest by the Youth Volunteers Force in 1979. - In 1999, Ho Chi Minh City handed over Vam Sat to Phu Tho Tourist (now Phu Tho Tourism Service Joint Stock Company) to manage and trade tourism. - With this conversion, Vam Sat has become an attractive eco-tourism area, attracting a large number of domestic and foreign tourists. • Enjoy speed jungle boat to see the wide beauty of scenery in Can Gio National Park • Experience the natural life and manage yourself in the forest • Visit The Bat Sanctuary Swamp • Visit the Crocodile Swamp • Visit Vietnamese Birds’ Nest Exhibition Center (VBEC). • Taste the swift bird nest’s soup

Nice trip to visit Mangrove forest, monkeys and crocodiles

Had a good day trip out to the mangrove forest with plenty of wildlife and other attractions to see. Would recommend for someone with a few spare days in Ho Chi Minh City to see something less touristy.

We had an amazing tour with Peter! Very well organized and informative, Peter knew a lot about the history and about the places we visited. We had an amazing lunch and entertaining drive. We can totally recommend the tour!

Went to the monkey island tour with Dom as our tour guide. The tour was fun - saw some monkeys and crocodiles. Also learnt a bit about the history of the region and their role in the American war (was really insightful & Dom was knowledgeable)

Vira was a wonderful host today very knowledgeable and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. We were unable to take part in several activities due to the river being low, Vira was very apologetic but was truely something out of her control. A great day.
