Overview

Personalised private tour. This tour is a great introduction to the city and will help you gather your bearings whilst discovering hidden treasures that only a local like me would know. We will spend the tour visiting the main Historical Monuments of the city as well as different neighbourhoods which give Bordeaux its character. There may even be a couple delicious treats in store. Let me know what interests you, allow me to plan so that you can relax, wander and enjoy this gorgeous city. Times can be adjusted to suit your schedule. Feel free to contact me.

We shall meet by a big statue called Sanna or I can meet you wherever you may like in the city centre. Perhaps your hotel or cruise ship. NOTE: ONLY IF IN CITY CENTRE

Great way to see the city

Sophia is a great guide and showed us the best parts of this beautiful city. She is very knowledgeable and kept up a very informative commentary throughout our tour. She has a warm personality with a good sense of humor. We would strongly recommend her.

First Time in Bordeaux

Sophia was a great tour guide. The walking tour around the city was very informative and interactive. We did 2 walking tours during the week we were there and Sophia's was great because it was a private tour so we were able to dictate a bit more what we wanted to do depending on our specific interests. For example I am a commonwealth lawyer and Sophia took us to the Commercial Courts in Bordeaux which have a very unique design which was very interesting for me personally.

In my planning to visit Bordeaux, I, my wife as well, have decided to get into a more precise way to come and discover Bordeaux, one beautiful city in France, famous for its wine, its architecture, its cultures and its special local gastronomy. On this tour, we also desire to explore the most important monuments, such as the Opera, the Cathedrale Saint Andre and special Places like Place de la Bourse, thereby to understand the past and present today of Bordeaux. We really enjoyed our walking tour with Sophia. Sophia has fulfilled all the expectations above mentioned. She is a warm and pleasant lady with a smiling face. She showed her talent to communicate and clearly loves Bordeaux. Her enthusiasm is infectious. She shared many her living experiences, information and interesting stories about Bordeaux to us. Besides, Sophia herself is very studious and ambitious – she is learning Mandarin! It was a real pleasure to walk around Bordeaux with Sophia and we are happy to recommend her tour without any hesitation.
