Join this food envy-inducing Barcelona tour for three hours of sightseeing and food tasting. Join locals as they indulge in the fine art of eating and drinking, something Spaniards are champions at. By the end of the tour, you'll not only be familiar with some local tapas and drinks but also with some hidden secrets of the Old Town. The small-group food tour is limited to a maximum of 12 guests.

  • Gothic Quarter (Barri Gotic)

    After meeting your English-speaking on this Barcelona food tour like no other we`ll take you right to the historic centre of the old city of Barcelona, together we`ll have a walk in Gothic Quarter. Just a stone’s throw away, you will enjoy the first tapas experience of the evening in an historical bar, where we’ll start tasting a “filling bomb” with cold local beer. The next place awaits us as we navigate our way through one of the most beautiful squares of the Gothic Quarter and its adjacent small streets that still retain their old medieval ambiance. Our next stop is a family-owned bar where we’ll taste Catalan cold cuts and “pa amb tomàquet” (bread with tomato) accompanied by a nice glass of white or red wine (as you do!).

    Our Barcelona tapas tour continues to the heart of the old Jewish Quarter. Next up is a hidden, charming, typical Bodega (with a fantastic cellar), where you can have a “vermut” (vermouth) or “cava” and indulge in the home-made croquettes and other typical tapas (you can expect “patatas bravas”, “padrón peppers”, sausage in cider sauce and bread with tomato).

    Then, on the way to the last venue, we’ll see the Cathedral or even a giant work by Picasso before vanishing again in the labyrinth of narrow streets. We’ll walk then in a very local and traditional Vermouth cellar where of course you will get a glass or Vermouth or local “pincho”. It is a must to taste.

I would recommend this tour.

The meeting point was conveniently located on La Ramblas, near a subway stop. Our guide was there and waiting. Lili B was our guide. She was well rated in previous publications we had seen. A 5 on a 1-5 scale is not enough. She should be a 6. She was knowledgeable, really wanted to talk with the people in her group, was full of interesting facts about the food and locations. She was well recognized by the locations that we went to. Lili was very considerate of my wife's dietary restrictions. We had five stops, 4 for tapas and drinks and 1 for dessert. All five stops were enjoyable.

My son and I had an amazing time on the Barcelona Tapas Tour with Lily! She introduced us to incredible tapas like la bomba, croquetas de jamón ibérico, and patatas bravas, to name a few. We also enjoyed a delicious sweet treat, the crema catalana and sipped on a vermouth. Lily’s energy and passion for Barcelona made the tour truly enjoyable. Lili was an amazing tour guide. Very animated and energetic. She was also very knowledgeable. She had lots of interesting information on the food, the restaurants, and city. Lastly she tied in the history of Barcelona and Spain and was very interesting. Overall she’s great and I highly recommend her.
