Overview

A local guide with many years of experience will let you know all the secrets of our coast on a luxurious and comfortable boat! The tour can be explained in English, Italian or Spanish. You will touch the places that have made our coast famous all over the world, such as Praiano, Fiordo di Furore, Grotta dello Smeraldo, Conca Dei Marini, Amalfi. You will be able to swim in wonderful places on our coast, beaches, caves and small bays. In addition, if you want, the captain will take you to one of the restaurants along the coast for lunch (not included in the cost of the tour). Itinerary

  • Amalfi Coast

    The tour will touch the most famous places of the Amalfi Coast: Positano, Praiano, Fiordo di Furore, Conca dei Marini, Amalfi, Grotta dello Smeraldo (ticket not included in the cost of the tour). We will stop to swim in the caves and quiet bays of our coast. You can make a short stop in Amalfi (Marinara Republic) or Minori where you can taste one of the best desserts in the area. Furthermore, for lunch, the captain will be able to take you to one of the famous restaurants along the coast and accessible only from the sea. Experience the breathtaking landscapes of the Amalfi Coast with us!!

  • Grotta dello Smeraldo

    The Emerald Grotto Discovered in 1932 by a local fisherman, Luigi Buonocore. It was named after the play of color from cobalt blue to turquoise and then passing from green to emerald green, due to the sunlight that crosses an underwater furrow that connects it to the open sea. The captain will stop in front of the cave and ask customers if they wish to visit it, in which case they will get off the small pier and reach the cave, not far away, on foot, and then get on the small boat that will go around the cave. Once the visit is over, the captain will be waiting for them to continue the tour. Waiting times vary and access is allowed only with favorable water conditions. The stage is not mandatory.

Book the boat trip!

We had the best day in Positano. Sandro communicated all the details ahead of time. He picked us up in Positano for a great day on the water. We cruised along the coast and it was stunning. We were able to swim and he took us to a nice lunch spot only accessible by boat. I would 100% recommend booking a private tour with Sandro.

We had an incredible experience with Positano Boat Rentals. Sandro was our captain. He was professional, kind, and knowledgeable. Communication was very easy for booking and the day of to get onto the boat. We cruised up and down the Amalfi coast. We had lunch at a spot only accessible by boat. He provided snacks, Prosecco, beer, and water. We stopped multiple times to swim which also included a spot inside a cave. It was a memorable experience. If you are thinking about booking it, BOOK IT! 1000000/10.

The perfect private boat tour

What a perfect day! The Amalfi coast is so beautiful already, that it’s hard to imagine it can be even better from a private boat at sea. Hermes was a great host, giving the perfect mix of local history and sights, balanced with time for eating, swimming and enjoying the day. The boat itself was ample for our private group of three and everything was set up for the day… towels, cushions, Prosecco etc… We’d thoroughly recommend this private boat tour.

Stunning tour of the Amalfi coast

The Positano Boat Rental was spectacular. Well worth the cost and made us feel very welcome. Mariano was our captain. He was very knowledgeable and a great host on the boat. He took us to Capri and all along the Amalfi coast. We saw the whole isle of Capri. We swam near the grottos and spent the day relaxing and drinking Prosecco. Mariano made us a reservation for lunch at Maria Grazi. It was excellent. He went at our pace for the whole day. I highly recommend this boat rental if you are visiting Positano.

The best Amalfi experience!

Our day on the boat up and down the Amalfi coast was one of the highlights of our trip. Our captain Hermes was so welcoming and told us all about the landmarks and towns along the coast, all while making sure our glasses of prosecco did not stay empty for long. Our lunch stop was only accessible by boat and provided unbeatable views and delicious food. We stopped many times throughout the day to cool off and swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea. We recommend this experience to anyone who wants a day out of the crowds and noise to relax and take in the scenery. A full day was the way to go and was worth every penny!
