You will receive an incredible experience to see Georgia's historic "First City" and her thriving port from the water's unique perspective. Decked out in traditional red, white and blue these towering riverboats are a staple along Savannah's historic riverfront.   Hear our Captain’s intriguing tales and historic facts about our modern port and the ships that visit from all over the world. Then make your way down river to Old Fort Jackson, home of one of the largest and oldest original artillery pieces in the country! Take advantage of the great photo opportunities of Savannah’s historic riverfront and skyline. Bar & Grille available on top deck.

Meeting points

Please go to the Ticket Office before boarding. The Riverboat Ticket Office is located directly in front of the riverboat dock at 9 East River Street, directly behind City Hall and next door to the Hyatt Regency. Please provide ID with this Voucher

Itinerary

  • Savannah Riverboat Cruises

    Decorated in traditional riverboat red, white, and blue, floating palaces continue to transport visitors back to a time when elegance and relaxation were expected from river travel. The sightseeing cruises have a live guide. Both riverboats offer a glass-enclosed climate-controlled dining and observation deck with panoramic views, open-air patio, and has numerous bench seats that line the upper decks for incredible city views and plenty of sunshine.. Anytime is a good time for a cruise down the river.  Come and enjoy Savannah’s only riverboat tour experience!

  • Old Fort Jackson (Pass By)

    Make your way down river to Old Fort Jackson, home of one of the largest and oldest original artillery pieces in the country! Take advantage of the great photo opportunities of Savannah’s historic riverfront and skyline.

  • Historic River Street (Pass By)

    A broad waterfront promenade lined with shopping, dining, and entertainment venues, River Street is one of the main arteries of the historic city.

  • The main deck of the Savannah River Queen is handicapped accessible, but restrooms are not
  • Yes, smoking is allowed, but only on the outside decks. No smoking is allowed anywhere on the interior cabin of the boat
  • A cash bar is available on all cruises for the purchase of alcoholic beverages; minimum drinking age is 21 years
  • No walking is required for our tour
  • The boarding ramps and main decks of each vessel are accessible by wheelchairs. The Georgia Queen is handicapped accessible and is outfitted with a passenger elevator and handicapped accessible restrooms. The main deck of the Savannah River Queen is handicapped accessible, but restrooms are not. Please contact our ticket office with questions.
  • YOU MUST ALLOW AN EXTRA 30-60 MINUTES TO FIND PARKING IN DOWNTOWN SAVANNAH. YOU WILL NOT BE OFFERED A REFUND IF YOU MISS THE BOAT.

Dinner is served, if you want. Cocktails are also available. Dolphins and eagles are visible on the cruise.

Just did the site seeing portions. Ended up buying snacks & drinks, which came out more then if we would of purchase the luncheon. With that being said still worth it.

Great views of the city. Narrator Gage was funny. We enjoyed seeing the dolphins alongside the ship as well.

Had a great experience with my children and learned some new interesting history! Loved seeing the river dolphins and the amazing barges shipping in and out! Would definitely recommend as a tourist attraction for everyone visiting.

Did the 90 minute sightseeing tour on New Year’s Day. If you read other reviews, this is really a great lesson in history. And no you aren’t going to see beautiful vistas. It’s a working river! So if you aren’t interested in Savannah history don’t waste your money. We were amazed at the number of people who didn’t seem to care and were just taking an expensive boat ride and socializing. Large party sitting by us playing cards and being loud. The best part of this tour was our narrator “Z”. He was a wealth of information and very entertaining. He gave us our money’s worth. Did not partake in food or drink so can’t comment.
