Overview
Take a wine tour with us and discover the beautiful and fascinating vineyards and wineries of Châteauneuf du Pape.
By visiting the estates of different producers you will experiment the complexity of the Châteauneuf du Pape terroir and wines.
The aim of the day is to familiarize you with the wines of one of the most famous french appellation and offer you a great experience!
Itinerary
Chateauneuf-du-Pape
Pick up from Avignon city center at 9:30 am.
Morning: Visit of two different estates (wineries). (cellar tour, wine making explanation, wine tasting)
12:30 pm: Lunch time in a typical provencal restaurant based in Châteauneuf du Pape. (lunch is not included in the tour price. Approx 35€/pers excluding drinks).
Afternoon: Private visit and wine tasting in one of the oldest wine estate of Châteauneuf du Pape.
Private tasting in our old cellar situated in the heart of the village to conclude the tour.
Drive back to Avignon city center at around 5:30pm.

Booked to explore another wine region as been spending a weekend in Avignon. Our guide, Marlène, was amazing! She's very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about wine. She also arranged a beautiful place for lunch. We really enjoyed our day!

What a wonderful, wine filled day in Châteauneuf du Pape. Marlène provided a detailed history of the area and the wineries. She was very happy to share her wine knowledge and answer all of our questions. Plus lunch was amazing. Highly recommended.
