We initially booked the 45-minute Glacier Tour, but was informed 3 hours before the flight that the wind was too strong that day for such a flight. However, the operator offered to change to a 25-minute flight to a closer mountain top, with a partial refund, which we took.
All in all, I’m glad to take it. The children were thrilled with the experience. The view from the helicopter was fantastic. The new landing area had enough snow for the kids to play. We had a very good view down the valley and the ice river. The pilots were very experienced and friendly.
