Overview

Zoo Miami is the ideal place for an individual, a couple, or an entire family to spend a day. As a matter of fact, visitors can travel the world in one day. They will visit Africa, Asia, the Amazon, and Australia. Zoo Miami consists of 340 developed acres with more than 3,000 animals and over 1,200 plants and trees.  This admission ticket allows you to go straight to the gate, and for an additional fee guests can feed giraffes, or parrots, . Guests will have animal encounters, meet the keepers during scheduled 'Meet the Zookeeper' talks throughout the day, and much more. At 'Amazon and Beyond', experience a rainforest, jaguars, anacondas, bats, venomous snakes (behind glass exhibits, of course), rare frogs, harpy eagles, and a 48,000-gallon aquarium.  Be sure to visit the 'Florida: Mission Everglades' exhibit. Here you’ll have the opportunity to come face-to-face with some of the incredible animals that call Florida home.

You will also get to see gorillas, chimps, koalas, tree kangaroos, frogs, snakes, meerkats, and more animals than we could ever list! Too 3 Zoo’s in USA

Too 3 Zoo’s in USA. We were delighted by the exhibits, reasonable cost, and easy to navigate signage given the tremendous size of the place. The only other zoos that rival this are DC and San Diego. We only had two hours which is not enough time. I think 3 hours assuming no lunch break is about right. You will get your 10,000 steps in but they did have peddle bikes and I think golf carts for rent. The only thing that would have made my wife and I happier would be grandchildren but we need to be a bit more patient with our kids on that front, lol!

Roaring Good Time at Zoo Miami

I spent the day at Zoo Miami with my family and we had a blast! The zoo's tropical setting and wide range of animals made for a fun and educational experience. I think the $22 admission fee was reasonable. Don't miss the giraffe feeding and monkey enclosure!

We took a cart your with David during a day it was mainly downpouring. He was wonderful and took us to see the animals that were out and about. Stopping for photo moments, education, snacks and even to gaze at the majestic animals we had an excellent time! Highly recommend this experience, zoo and David!

We had a great time at the zoo. The enclosures for the animals seem great and more natural than some I have been to. Noe real cage in sight. The zoo is huge and I advise planning what you want to see most as we did not have time to see the whole zoo. An opening time of 9 would help! The highlight for me was the chance to feed a giraffe (my favourite animal) We also enjoyed seeing the Elephants, Tigers, Lions, snakes. The list goes on. I would thoroughly recommend a visit to Zoo Miami.
