Get to know 3 of the best places in the south of Mexico City: 1. Starting with Coyoacan, where several of the most important artists and historical figures in the country lived.     You will visit the central campus of one of the best public universities in Mexico and Latin America: "UNAM" where you will appreciate the Olympic Stadium and the Central Library, buildings with murals by Juan O'Gorman and Diego Rivera. This place is included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

  • Floating Gardens of Xochimilco

    Hop aboard a colorful flat-bottomed boat called a trajinera, and take an hour-long slow cruise down the canals past floating flower gardens. These boats were once used to transport food and passengers throughout Mexico City. He is hungry? Taste a variety of typical Mexican dishes and fresh drinks such as the famous mole, roasted corn, quesadillas, pulque (pre-Hispanic spiritual alcoholic beverage). A lot to see

Miguel and Sr.Martinez (our driver) were awesome. We saw a lot of Mexico City between the zocalo and Xochimilco. Discovered much about the area and its volcanoes, along with culture.

We couldn't have asked for a better time in Mexico. Our tour guide was passionate about his job. He was extremely knowledgeable about the landmarks areas and places we visited. We would definitely recommend this tour with Max.

A day to remember

Definitely A Day to Remember. We had originally scheduled a visit to sochimilico Frida Karla Museum however there was some issues with not being able to obtain tickets to the Frida Karla Museum however our tour guide maximiliano recommended other options which we chose to visit Mixquic. So happy we chose to visit the cemetery in a very small town outside of El Centro. We were honored to see how beautiful the locals decorated the Tombstones and remembrance of their loved ones full of color music food definitely one of the most memorable trips ever. The church San Andres de Mixquic was absolutely breathtaking. Thank you Maximiliano and our driver Andres.

Great experience, from excellent tour guides and cultural highlights

What an amazing experience! First, we loved our guides, Gerson and Leticia. They shared great knowledge of the cultural significance and history of the areas and sites we visited. Without their narrative, behind the scenes, we would probably miss all the important parts of the trip. Second, combining Xochimilco, Coyoacan, and Frida Kahlo museum, made for a perfect full day adventure. We got to see those top attractions with smooth transitions, and even a few extra fun surprises that helped us appreciate important aspects of Mexican culture. And by the way, the boat ride in Xochimilco was really fun, with live mariachi on our boat! It was also more romantic than we were expecting. Thank you for a wonderful time in Mexico City!

We had a great experience on this tour. We appreciated being picked up at our stay and had a very insightful tour of the university’s notable art/architecture. Xochimilco was a blast and it was great having the guide navigating the experience for us. A big thunderstorm came through just before we were to go to the Frida Kahlo museum. Unfortunately the storm knocked out the power and we couldn’t enter the museum until it came back on. With unpredictable timing for power restoration, we left and returned the next day as our tickets were to be honored. Max was gracious as he stayed with us the whole time (over an hour) we were line for the museum to ensure we had no issues using the prior day’s tickets. Truly above and beyond!
