Food tours are my favorite way to check out new cities (or new parts of cities!) and I took my parents on this one for their first trip to Wynwood. We had such a fun time walking around the Wynwood area, checking out multiple (delicious) restaurants, and of course seeing the Wynwood walls. Mirka, our tour guide, had a ton of fun facts about the history of Wynwood in general, the various restaurants we visited, and some of the street artists who have their work in the area (both officially and unofficially). She also dropped a ton of restaurant recommendations and was such a wonderful host, too, making sure everyone saw what they wanted to see and took the pictures they wanted to take. While we made multiple food stops, they were all very accommodating of various dietary restrictions and preferences, plus we had everything from Cuban, to Spanish, to Argentinian, to American, to Italian, and more! Having the official Wynwood Walls tour included as part of the tour was also a plus. Would recommend this to locals who want to learn more about the Wynwood art and food scenes and newcomers/visitors alike!
