Explore Florentine art and architecture on a tour that gets you past the typical long lines at the Accademia Gallery and the Duomo. You'll breeze past the long line to marvel at Michelangelo’s statue of David, granting you incredible insight into the mind of a master. After, you’ll stop at Piazza del Duomo outside the Baptistery and check out the incredible bronze-cast doors by Lorenzo Ghiberti, coined the "Gates of Paradise" by Michelangelo. Continue on to the jewel of Florence, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, with a special skip-the-line entrance up to the terraces—an exclusive space rarely visited by the general public. You’re welcome to continue your journey up to the top of Florence by climbing to the top of the dome to soak up even more spectacular views of the city. With all entrance fees included, an expert guide, and a small group of just 18 guests max for a more intimate experience, there’s no better way to see Florence’s top attractions.

  • Galleria dell'Accademia

    Meet your local expert guide and small group of 18 people or fewer outside the Accademia. Before the daytime crowds show up or after they've left in the afternoon, you’ll head in to marvel at Michelangelo’s “David” as well as his unfinished sculptures known as “Slaves,” which give incredible insight into the mind of one of history’s greatest artists.

    After leaving the museum, you’ll stop at Piazza del Duomo outside the Baptistery and check out the incredible bronze-cast doors by Lorenzo Ghiberti, coined the "Gates of Paradise" by Michelangelo.

  • Duomo - Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore

    You’ll skip lines into the Duomo, where your guide will bring the unbelievable history of its construction to life before heading to the pinnacle of your tour: the once-in-a-lifetime chance to step onto the Duomo’s rooftop terraces, rarely open to the public and offering stunning panoramic views.

  • Cupola Del Brunelleschi

    Finally, once the guided tour concludes on the terrace level, you’re welcome to continue your journey up to the top of Florence by climbing to the top of the dome. Starting from this level gives you a head start past the long lines down below, so you’ll be soaking up spectacular views of the city in no time at all.

Great Intro to Florence!

I had limited time in Florence and this was the perfect introduction and allowed me to hit the big items all at once! I was worried that this would feel rushed but I enjoyed it and felt it was enough time for me. The Accademia Gallery was cool and although I'm not a big art person, seeing David up close was incredible. There isn't a lot of free time in the gallery, however, our guide took us through a few of the rooms and pointed out some of the major pieces. Then the Duomo was incredible. Our guide took us through a side entrance and we got to skip the long line (in the heat and sun) and go straight inside. Then, we got to explore and learn about the Duomo before heading up to the dome. Overall, a good time and a great way to hit these two sites quickly and easily!

This is the third time I’ve been to the Accademia, but the first time with a guide. Having a guide makes a huge difference! He explained the typical sculpting process and how Michelangelo’s process was so revolutionary. He also explained the David and its construction and transportation in a very informative way.

Greta was very informative and interactive with our tour. This was not a planned tour but greatly happy to have booked it. We would not have learned anything on our own. Best part we skipped the extremely long lines. The terrace was a beautiful added feature and we were the only group there.

I thoroughly enjoyed the demonstration about the statue of David. It was very moving and impactful to understand its history. While it was windy, taking the VIP tour to the top of the Duomo was breathtaking. Highly recommend.
