We were thrilled to visit Page, AZ in late January. Despite it not being that warm and the daylight not prime for the slot canyons, this trip and tour was an experience of a lifetime! There were four of us traveling the area and we did the 10:15 a.m. tour. We appreciated that the canyon was not overly crowded as we entered and we felt we had a very intimate experience with only six of us in the group. We were led by the incomparable Irene who shared so much about the history of the canyons and the importance they served to the tribal nation. We absolutely loved taking in the sites with an easy walk through the canyon itself. The colors of the walls was amazing -- only highlighted by the twisting light coming through. Irene was incredible in sharing stories of the Tribal Nation's connection to this land and these canyons. We could not have had a better experience.
