Overview

Spend the day exploring the must-see attractions outside of Seoul. Have a scenic walk in the oldest private garden in Korea and enjoy the popular Nami Island, known for its natural beauty. Explore the half-moon shaped island, which has very attractive landscapes and was used as the filming location for the famous Korean drama “Winter Sonata.” Visit Petite France, a small French village with 16 interesting French-style buildings. You can also explore the Italian village right beside, there are exhibitions and performances of the faity tale 『The Adventures of Pinocchio』. Receive a small briefing from a knowledgeable staff. This tour includes entrance fees and transportation in an air-conditioned coach/minivan. ** From 6th Dec- 16th Mar 2024, winter schedule will applied with a late departure in order to enjoy the light festival in the Garden of Morning Calm**

Great experience, Beautiful Locations

I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. First of all our tour guides Cecilia and Chuck were incredible. They were super friendly and attentive to everyone and had lots of stories to tell about each of the places we visited. The bus ride to each location was also very comfortable. We visited several locations including Eobi Ice Valley, Petite France, Nami Island and the Gardens of Morning Calm. We felt that we were able to spend sufficient time at each location although we would've liked a bit more time at the Gardens of Morning Calm as we did have to rush through them a bit. Nami Island was very beautiful and I would love to come back and see it again in Spring or Autumn. Petite France was probably my least favourite out of the places we visited, it was nice but it wasn't anything special, at least in comparison to the other places we went to. Overall, it was a pleasant day and I would recommend it to travellers who want to see multiple places in one day. Thanks again Cecilia and Chuck for making this tour so wonderful!

Our guide Shine kept the group together throughout our tour. She gave us ample time in each stop to explore and take photos. She made sure everyone was informed on how to get back to our respective hotels.

Our host Shana was really lovely and made a lot of effort to make this an interesting trip. While driving she explained about each sight we visited and also did some basic Korean expression lesson. While on locations she was constantly looking over our group just in case. As far as the experience it is hard to decide between Nami island and Garden of morning calm, because both were amazing. Nami island has so many amazing sights and it was just a pleasure to walk around, but Garden of morning calm is just so beautiful and peaceful. If you go in July be prepared for hot& humid weather.
