Great 1 day trek near Sapa with local guide

This was a great 1 day trek. Because it’s one of the more challenging ones it takes you up quite high, away from the main tourist groups. Our guide was So. He is from one of the ethnic minority villages we walked through so had really detailed knowledge of the area and its people. He was really friendly and easy to get on with and I liked that he was also interested in where we come from so we could exchange information. The company were easy to deal with and efficient with the arrangements. I would definitely recommend if you’re staying in Sapa.
Wonderful day activity.

It has been a pleasure trekking with a group of friends together. It is fun having an experience english guide and a troop of local ladies tagging us along the way supporting some of my friends along the walk through the paddy fields. The guides explains the local and also migrant. how they stay and live at the mountain and paddy field area. How the people use the plant to dye the clothes and also do knitting with the plant. Many photos were taken and we are also able to enjoy the local food cook by local tribe.
