We will visit the heart of the Imperial City of Toledo, its historic complex. On our itinerary we will walk through its most emblematic streets and squares. In the Historic Centre there are places as interesting as the Alcázar, the Plaza de Zocodover, the Cathedral Primada de España, the Mosque of Cristo de la Luz, the Jewish Quarter, the Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca, the Synagogue of El Tránsito or the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes. These are just some of the best known. In addition, we could access underground excavations not open to the general public to learn about part of the Hidden Toledo, such as Islamic Hammam, Roman Baths, medieval Cistern (well), Jewish Ritual Bath (Mickvé), etc... We will advise you based on the opening days, hours, your tastes and preferences which places would be the most suitable to visit. The proposed order of the itinerary may vary depending on the pick-up of travelers at their accommodation or where they choose

Clear filterMemorable Private Tour of Toledo with Chavi
Published on Dec, 2024
Our private tour of Toledo with Chavi Martin was simply fantastic. It was a 3-hour tour with two kids (ages 7 and 14), and Chavi made it enjoyable for the entire family. His ability to engage both children was remarkable, as he effortlessly connected with our 7-year-old while keeping our teen intrigued. Chavi began with the streets less traveled, sharing fascinating details that gave us a deeper appreciation of Toledo’s history and charm. He then guided us through the more touristy and bustling areas. To top it off, he even dropped us off at the taxi stand and kindly communicated with the taxi driver—small gestures like this truly made it an above-and-beyond experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Toledo with Chavi and highly recommend his tour.

Ana is a true Toledo native. Her love of Toledo and its magnificent monuments makes the day fly by. She explained the history, and the relevance of each site. We also loved her restaurant recommendations. We are grateful for our time in Toledo and will definitely be back!

Enrique was a fantastic tour guide. His local knowledge was fascinating and much appreciated. We were fortunate to have him as the guide as we were able to go to an underground spot that few get to visit. We got to learn about the history as well as sample a popular local specialty for a sweet treat. He was welcoming and easy to communicate with. The walking was paced and easy and we were not rushed. What a great experience!

Our three hour walking tour with Almudena greatly enhanced our appreciation of Toledo! Almudena is a skilled, highly educated and experienced guide who wove together a story about history, three cultures, religion, art, architecture and everyday life in Toledo. She was warm and friendly and a wonderful guide to Toledo.
