Overview

This is a private and exclusive tour, you will only be in the group, there will be no other people. We will be out of the normal tourist circuits, we will visit isolated, peaceful and safe places. Full day excursion With driver who speaks English and French available during the Day advising and explaining the main things to do and see. During the tour you will visit Segesta with its perfectly preserved Greek temple. After you will leave for Erice, where you can also taste the typical almond sweets & wines famous all over the world. After lunch we will continue the visit of the Saline. this tour is managed only with a Driver to 7/8 people is not an authorized tourist guide. Authorized tourist guide: they are the only professionals, authorized to conduct visits inside museums . The Driver cannot escort people inside the monuments. However, it has the skills to promote the most important highlights by providing basic historical and cultural information.

    You will arrive at the top of Mount Erice, you can visit the Medieval town, rich in churches, castles, towers. you can also stroll through its characteristic streets, full of small shops, enjoy a unique view, taste the characteristic almond and cannoli sweets. if you want you can have lunch in one of the many characteristic restaurants

    At the end you will visit the Salt Museum, in the heart of the Saline of Trapani, you will discover the ancient craft of Salinaro and how it turns the production, you can walk in a unique place with a thousand colors and breathtaking landscapes

Great tour

We covered a lot of ground with Umberto on our tour. Roberto was very friendly and informative. While we were driving, he talked some, but didn’t talk the whole time which was nice. We had our six kids with us, ages 20 to 28, so they appreciated the quiet time. He was a great driver, especially in Palermo, where the streets are insane. He gave us free time at the temple. Walked us through Erice and gave us lots of stories, took us to a wonderful bakery and took us to RISTORANTE PIZZERIA VENUS for lunch which ended up being in the top three restaurants that we went to. We then drove to the salt fields, which was very fascinating. We bought some fresh salt. Umberto gave us a bunch of recipes on the way back to the hotel. Overall, it was a great day learned and saw a lot.

Experience Ancient Sicily!

Cristian, our tour guide took us to Greek ruins in Sargenta, Elymian medieval town of Erice, and salt flats. He spoke English and explained all sites perfectly. Highly recommend this tour!

Great tour. Our guide Umberto was very conversational with a great knowledge and pride in Sicily. He took us through Erice explaining the town and introduced us the Maria! Segesta and Erice are fantastic!

Fabulous day trip

This was a fantastic trip out! I was travelling with my 84 year old mother and her 75 year old cousin. We just had 4 days in Palermo together and we all thoroughly enjoyed the day out. All 3 places are well worth visiting - very interesting (and pretty) locations. Umberto, our guide, was fantastic - I can't recommend him enough. He was extremely informative and helpful throughout the whole day; telling us lots of things about Sicily as we were driving to and from and each location. There was no pressure to hurry at any location (bearing in mind I had 2 elderly people with me). Umberto walked around Erice with us, sharing lots of information. He also took us to a wonderful pastry shop there; getting us a table and a selection of pastries and coffees. This was a well organised tour and well worth doing if you have a few days in Palermo. It was great to see a bit more of Sicily and not just the city.
