Overview

On Old Town Square, your guide will meet you in a historical costume of an early 1900's writer and lore collector. The guide will take you into the dusky medieval lanes of the Old Town district, where you will be shown places where tragic events happened and ghosts are appearing ever since. In Old Prague, the dead walked among the living, the devil was tempting mortals to sin and mysterious creatures occupied the underworld. The stories about them were passed on for centuries. Through the lightly theatrical storytelling, you will familiarize yourself with the authentic creepy lore of the locals. You will also learn a lot about the city’s past. Your guide will put the tales into historical context that further expands your understanding of Prague and its horrorful side. The tour starts on Old Town Square and ends at the Charles bridge, (see under “Tour details”), leading through picturesque areas off the beaten path with hidden gems. The group is limited to 10 people.

It was a great...

It was a great experience. Our guide Steven was a fantastic narrator. We also got to hear about some of the history about the Astronomical clock in the town square. It was all very interesting.

Best tour ever!

This tour was amazing! Our tour guide, Chris, was kind and funny and incredibly knowledgable. We had so much fun walking around with him, and he took the time to ask each of us questions and point out specific things that we had mentioned we were interested in. He even showed us some things along the way that weren’t specifically in the tour. We had so much and would recommend Chris and this tour to anyone! It was a relatively big loop of walking, but because of how engaging Chris was and his stories were, we never felt tired and didn’t want it to end! Thank you, Chris!

Mark told us good stories and myths of Prague, he took us to different places in the city and also the rain was great for accompanying the stories. I hardly recommend the tour. Thanks to Marka

Pragues old legends

It’s a refreshing evening walk in the crisp air through old town Prague. The walk is interrupted by few stops to tell a legend/spooky story about a person or a building. Christina, our guide, did a wonderful job in telling the stories in a captivating way. We all listened intently to Christina. My 13 and 6 years old kids loved it too.
