    I am sure one of the reasons you have booked your cruise was to experience all the Norwegian fjords has to offer.  Let Stavanger be one of the highlights of your cruise.  The fjords were created by glaciers. In the Earth's last ice age, glaciers covered just about everything.  The Lysefjord and the Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen) are some of the most impressive sights you will enjoy on the tour. The tour really shows off the natural nature at its best. You will meet your professional guide with an easy 5 minute walk from the cruise pier, the boat offers a sundeck as well as a kiosk.  One of the first memorable sights will be the mysterious Vagabond's Cave, a gorgeous cove where dramatic cliffs surround an aqua-marine pool. As legend has it, the cave was named after a group of vagabonds who hid in the shelter for months trying to escape police.

    We then head to the famous Pulpit Rock this is a natural rock formation consisting of a steep cliff, rising 1981 feet above Lysefjorden, opposite the Kjerag plateau, with an almost flat top of approximately 80 meters. Also on this exhilarating tour of memorable Lysefjord with its towering waterfalls, idyllic islands, and breathtaking scenery, you'll visit goats at summer pasture and taste clear mountain water from the Hengjane falls. Amazing boat trip. Was as advertised and only 3.5hrs. Very spacious and allowed everyone to view all the scenes at their leisure. Everyone was seated at first but then became a just walk around the ship so don’t worry too much about getting a seat. There’s plenty. Views were insane and will create lifelong memories. Boat actually goes up to them super close. Couldn’t have asked for a better trip, thanks!

A great cruise, the crew were excellent as was the commentary. An excellent craft and the places stopped at and closeness to fjord rock walls and water falls was wonderful. Great value for money and recommend for all visiting Stavanger. A highlight of our trip.

Best option for a short stop

Easy bording process, right behind the cruise ship. The vessel was in top ship shape and the narrator was easy to hear and understand. The points of interest were amazing and the captain would get you up close. Great job. Highly recommended!

A very enjoyable tour. The boat was spacious and very comfortable. The cruise is very smooth. Depending on your time of year, dress in layers so you can enjoy the big outside observation decks.
