Overview

Come and join us on a snowshoe adventure in Oslomarka! Explore the stunning winter landscapes of Oslomarka with snowshoes on your feet. This tour takes about 3.5 hours including public transportation. We will provide snowshoes and poles for each guest, our guide will give instructions on how to use them. ‍ ‍

Your guide will meet you near the Tiger Statue at Jernbanetorget (Oslo Central Station), just outside the Oslo Visitor's Center.

Itinerary

Due to the Holmenkollen Ski Festival, we can not do snowshoes 13, 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23 March 2025. Please book Best View of the Oslofjord Winter Edition. Come and join us on a snowshoe adventure in Oslomarka! Explore the stunning winter landscapes of Oslomarka with snowshoes on your feet. ‍ Our trip starts outside Oslo Visitor Centre located at the bustling Jernbanetorget. We will hop aboard the Frognerseteren metro line taking a scenic train ride with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. This tour is suitable for everyone, and we are experts is adapting our tours to our guests' ability levels. Our guides will give you all the instructions you need to make sure you're safe and comfortable throughout the tour. We will be with you every step of the way, showing you the best spots and sharing interesting facts about the Norwegian winter traditions and animals that call this place home. Keep an eye out for deer, foxes, and other wildlife as we make our way through the forest. After enjoying the winter forest, we will make our way back to the metro station and finish our trip at Jernbanetorget.

Good Hike

It was the first time we did snowshoe hiking, and it was a great time. The scenery was beautiful and Patricia, our guide, was knowledgeable and very helpful. Definitely should try.

Snowy snowshoeing day!

Patricia was our guide; instructions were clear where to meet; the ride on the Metro to the snowshoeing trail was comfortable and convenient and it was a small tour of eight people. Patricia was knowledgeable about the area and would share information with the group along the trail. She also was well prepared and had a variety of hot teas to enjoy when we were finishing up our hike. The hike itself was enjoyable- wish it was a bit longer as there was such a calm and peaceful feeling being in the forest. Would highly recommend!

Winter Wonderland

Me and my partner had a great time on the guided snow shoe hike around Oslo. The scenery was stunning and it was a fun experience. The guides Mustapha and Tommy were really friendly and very kind in letting us practice speaking norwegian with them as we're learning the language, despite us being on the english speaking tour. Would definitely recommend this wonderful way to see some of the beautiful nature Norway has to offer.

Great to experience snow shoeing for the first time and see how the locals hang out on their cross country skis. Antoine was a great guide and shared his knowledge of Oslo/Norway, he did a great job!
