Takeshi is so kind and knowledgable. The bikes are really cool and the tour was very intimate and a fantastic way to experience Uji and all its splendor. Get an experience no one else is getting. Book this tour. You will remember it for your whole life.

Incredible Tour of Uji!

My husband and I booked this cycling tour as part of our honeymoon trip to Japan, and it exceeded all our expectations! Takashi is a very kind, experienced guide and he made our trip to Uji unforgettable. We cycled to many unique locations like the Asahi Dam, Byodoin Temple, Kosho Ji Temple, and the Uji Shrine. I highly recommend booking this tour if you’re traveling to Uji, or really anywhere Takashi provides tours.

Amazing Uji by bike

Today was memorable. Our friendly and knowledgeable guide, Takashi, took us through the best outdoor places in Uji. We visited the Chazuna Matcha Tea Museum after crossing the beautiful Uji river. Then, we continued our bicycle ride along the river bank, the Amagase bridge, and caught a view of the Amagase Dam. After that, we visited the Koshoji Temple and Ujigami Shrine, and we took a lunch break at Match Toastery. We finalized our bicycle tour at the marvelous Byodoin Phoenix Hall and Museum. The views along the way were breathtaking. A must do activity if you visit Kyoto and enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Domo arigato, Takashi.
