  • Silversonic Dive & Snorkel

    Your day begins with pickup from your Port Douglas hotel. The fastest ride out to the reef from Port Douglas, the ultra modern 29 meter catamaran will be your base for the day. Throughout the day you'll visit three locations on Agincourt Reef, each showcasing a different aspect of the beautiful Great Barrier Reef. The cruise has exclusive access to 22 premier internationally recognised reef sites and you have the choice to snorkel, dive or a combination of both. The friendly crew will be happy to answer any questions you have throughout the day. The boat features full bar facilities, fresh water showers and expansive sundecks overlooking the Coral Sea. A tropical buffet lunch will be served between sites, along with morning and afternoon tea.

  • Agincourt Reef

    Agincourt Reef sits at the very edge of the Great Barrier Reef, a ribbon reef running parallel to the Continental Shelf. There is a multitude of marine life at Agincourt Reef, from tiny iridescent fish seeking shelter in their coral homes to massive giant clams weighing up to 200 kilograms (440 pounds).

  • Great Barrier Reef

    If you have never tried scuba diving you can choose to do one or two introductory dives, or you may prefer to stick to snorkeling and explore all three sites from the surface. A crew member will take those interested on a guided snorkel tour at one of the reef locations. Certified divers can choose to partake in up to three certified dives. Whatever you choose, your Outer Great Barrier Reef Dive and Snorkel Cruise includes up to five hours in the water. We recommend you book this reef trip on your first full available day. You then have the opportunity to be flexible and change your travel date if you wish. Your booking can be changed at no additional cost directly with the operator once you are in Cairns. Prebook and secure your booking, but relax in knowing you can make amendments at no charge.

  • Minimum age for introductory scuba diving is 12 years. All diving participants will be required to complete a health questionaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
  • After a single dive, a wait of 12 hours is recommended before flying. If doing multiple dives, an interval of 24 hours is recommended.

Amazing dives and great experience!

We had the best time diving with Silversonic this weekend! The crew was fantastic, super friendly, professional, and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. The boat itself was spacious and well-equipped, with plenty of room to relax between dives. The dive sites were absolutely stunning, with incredible coral and marine life everywhere. We got to explore three different spots, and each one had something unique to offer. The food on board was great too, just what you need after a big day in the water! Highly recommend Silversonic if you’re looking for an amazing dive experience on the Great Barrier Reef. We’ll definitely be back!

Amazing Diving Experience in the Great Barrier Reef !!

What an amazing day with Silversonic ! Three dives on the Great Barrier Reef, and each site was unique. The coral diversity is just incredible—colorful coral gardens, massive formations, and even soft corals swaying with the current. The marine life is breathtaking: clownfish, bumped head parrot fish, schools of tropical fish, Staff absolutely fantastic! Super professional, friendly, and always ready to help. The food was great too—snacks available all day and a delicious, fresh lunch with a variety of dishes and tropical fruits. A huge + : they propose transport from Cairns, which makes the trip super easy. And as a bonus, the drive to Port Douglas is stunning, with incredible coastal views. Overall, a perfect day both underwater and on the boat. Highly recommend!

Awesome day, went with two young kids and everyone had a fantastic time, went for a dive with Gordon, he was a fantastic dive master and really made our day.

Great day out for snorkelling and diving

We had a really great day out snorkelling and diving. A great selection of sealife and corals. The boat ride was really smooth - I didn't see that anyone was sea sick! Friendly staff and good food on the surface intervals. I enjoyed the friendly banter between the staff - it helped make it a relaxing day. Big thanks to the guide Gordon. He took the group out for 3 dives and had a relaxed attitude while still being attentive to his divers. I would definitely recommend Quicksilver Silversonic and would book on this trip again when I'm new to in the area.
