Overview

Explore San Francisco - the City by the Bay with its rolling hills and never ending water views- with Unlimited Biking on a beautiful bike ride along the city's stunning waterfront, across the Golden Gate Bridge, towards the quaint coastal community of Sausalito. Tours depart daily at 10am from 757 Beach Street and last for three hours. To ensure a personalized guest experience, each tour will be held in a small-group format of no more than 15 guests. After departing from Ghirardelli Square at the western end of Fisherman's wharf, guests will bike through the green hillside of Fort Mason, the Marina District, through Crissy Fields, up to and across the Golden Gate Bridge, and then down the Marin Headlands into Sausalito. There, guests can either stay to explore Sausalito on their own, or take the ferry back to San Francisco. Guests on this small-group bike tour will be fitted with high quality Cannondale bikes.

Best way to cross the bridge!!!

Really enjoyed this tour. John was a great guide - kept a sensible pace, looked out for us all and was full of useful information about San Francisco and the surrounding area. There’s a couple of slightly challenging hills - not unexpected for SF! - but we never felt rushed and when I got off and pushed my bike up the tough hills, I was never made to feel uncomfortable or held the group back. The last bit of the ride down to Sausalito is lovely - and all downhill - so a great way to finish! A lovely way to see some of the City and cross the bridge - would highly recommend!

fun private bike tour for the family

We had a great private tour with John from Unlimited Biking San Francisco. We were a family of 5, with children ages 4, 8, and 12. John was great at pacing the outing to our family's needs, did not feel rushed. The kids enjoyed the history and facts throughout the ride. This was a great way to see the Golden Gate bridge and get the family moving for the day.

There were many wonderful views. The guides highlighted some interesting historical facts. My group had only 6 ppl in it which made it nice and intimate. Would recommend this tour.

Did this tour on March 15th with Josh. Josh stopped at all the major stops and was full of information! Highly recommend. If using the City Pass, upgrade to the ebike though, there are 2 rather steep hills. Also, the tour stops in Sausalito and you have the option of taking the ferry back (14US - or 7,50 with a clipper card) or biking back.
