Enjoyable day trip

It's my first trip to San Francisco and I really wanted to explore the Muir woods. Took a chance by booking a local tour from the list provided by the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy website. My friend and I had a good time - we appreciated the facts shared with the group by our knowledgeable tour guide (shared interesting tidbits about John Muir!) and the humor that came with the stories. It was quite the foggy day in SF up to Muir woods, but the trip was nevertheless enjoyable with ample stops for photos! If you are pressed for time, this tour is well worth it.

Interesting sites and stories of Santana

Engaging and enthusiastic tour guide (Roger) took us in a small minibus around the key sites. The tour includes free bottled water and snack bars. This tour also included free entry to muir woods ($15) which was a bonus. The guide provided stories as the tour took place and music aligned to this. The tour was slightly rushed as he had to have us back by 1pm for the Alcatraz ferry. A couple of had arrived late (and they didn’t end up joining) which meant we lost about 20 mins. Well recommended.

Highly recommend this tour. Sully was an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable and personable. The tour was great if you are only in town for a short time and want to experience a lot of the sights.
