Our group of 6 recently had an amazing safari tour in Rhodes. Our guide Takis was very friendly and knowledgeable about his island, its nature culture and history. This trip was really special; it felt like we were truly living the Greek way of life and learning about their culture. First, we went to 7 Springs, a beautiful spot in the woods with springs, a forest lake, a waterfall, and a mysterious tunnel. After that, we visited some lovely Greek villages and tried local food like fresh olive oil, local cheese, delicious traditional sweets, and seasonal fruits. The locals there were really nice and welcoming. They didn't try to make us buy anything. We also visited a 15th-century church, a fascinating place that tells a lot about the island's history and religion. Our trip ended with a visit to a beautiful Greek winery in the hills, surrounded by vineyards. There, we had local wines and food, each tasting better than the last. This tour was much more than a simple trip; it was a deep dive into the real Rhodes, away from the usual tourist spots. I really recommend this tour to anyone who wants to really understand Greek culture and experience the warmth of its people.
