There’s a fee to enter Ras Mohammed National Park, whether you’re approaching by land or water. Given the magic that lies below the surface, many visitors choose to experience the park on a snorkeling cruise. While qualified divers will likely already have the park on their Red Sea itinerary, a few tours offer options for untrained divers as well. Land-based Ras Mohammed National Park tours typically focus on its deserted beaches, sandstone cliffs, and earthquake fractures.

Itinerary

  • Ras Mohammed National Park

    Collection from all hotels in Sharm El Sheikh start at around 08:00 - 9:00 am . Transfer by air conditioned vehicle to the National park and you will be accompanied by our guide at all times. Don't forget to take your swimming gear with you! He will explain to you what you will see and what you can do throughout the time in the park. He is full of information so please listen to him and ask as many questions as you like. You have to explore the reefs around the area along with some swimming or snorkeling in the Magic lake and some guests just sit and relax in the beautifully clear and warm waters or take a snorkel in Allah's garden reef. You will be shown the great Earthquake crack and told why these are here, the marvellous mangrove swamp and the salt marshes.

The guide and Faisal were very good...they were extremely helpful and the guide was very knowledgeable and spoke in depth about the excursion catering for all languages..

The experience was amazing! The tour guide Sherif was excellent - he was incredibly informative, kind and made the experience really enjoyable. The photographers are also amazing and really capture great moments that you can take home with you!

Fabulous morning excursion

A super morning spent seeing a beautiful area. The stone feature itself is man made, but everything else is about the natural formations that make this park so incredible. Also a special thank you to the guides who went out if their way to make me feel included, even though I was the only English person amongst an Italian group, and didn't want to participate in the small amount of snorkeling on offer during this trip.

The tour was extreemly well organized. Even I was travelling solo I felt safe all the time. Tourguide Ahmed was really helpful all the time and was providing instructions to the group on Russian, English and Italian language. Photographer Faisal was taking really good photos for all of us. I had lot of fun and would recommend this tour for solo female travellers
