    NOTE: THE CABLE CAR IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED. ACCESS TO THE UPPER CABLE CAR STATION IS BY VEHICLE. BEAUTIFUL VIEWS OF THE MOUNTAINS AND DOMINICAN COUNTRYSIDE GUARANTEED :) Discover the famous Puerto Plata Cable Car y enjoy amazing views from the top of the Mount Isabel :) Feel the adrenaline rush as you climb above the rainforest, to end up on the altitude of almost 800 meters (2,500 feet)! Admire the coastal panorama, the historic bay of Puerto Plata and the city from above.

  • Mount Isabel de Torres

    See the emblematic Christ the Redeemer statue on Mount Isabella, take souvenir photos with this symbol of Puerto Plata, and then explore the astonishing botanical garden. Immerse yourself in the lush exotic nature full of tropical trees, vines, lianas, ferns and flowers. Meet the park's inhabitants: birds, lizards, koi carp and turtles. At the open-air museum, check out Dominican cuisine and typical crops: cacao, coffee, banana trees and more.

    Rum is one of the Dominican Republic's important export products. Visit the Macorix rum factory, observe the oak barrels in which the beverage is aged, and watch a video that tells the story of this iconic Caribbean liquor.   • Catedral San Felipe

    Here we will begin our walk together through the old town of Puerto Plata. We will explore the main square, the cathedral of the city's patron saint, St. Philip, the city hall and the prettiest streets in the area - Umbrella Street and Pink Street. At the end of the tour there will be free time for individual exploration.

    Umbrella Street has become one of Puerto Plata's biggest attractions. In addition to a great outdoor area for photos, it offers souvenir and jewelry stores with amber and larimar, a cigar manufactory, a café and typical Dominican street food.

    Paseo de la Dona Blanca is commonly referred to as Pink Street because of its intense color. The place commemorates the oldest hotel in Puerto Plata, founded in the 19th century by an Italian woman named Dona Bianca. Recently, it's a recognized photo spot and an absolute must see in Puerto Plata :)

Excellent excursion. Highly recommend

We really liked our excursion. Our tour guide was very informative, attentive and gentle. He offered to choice locations which we can visit. We had several stops, made a lot of photos, had delicious lunch, tried coffee, chocolate, hot cocoa, brownie, different types of wine. No rush, he always gave as time. Driver also was very gentle, attentive. Both guys always were ready to help as with everything. We had amazing time and I highly recommend this excursion.

Really nice and informative trip. Our family of 10 took this trip together. Antonio and Daniel took great care to ensure we experienced as much as possible on a shortened day due to leaving port early. We learned a lot, saw a lot, and were very grateful for the chance to spend the day in DR.

I would highly recommend this tour. There was so much more than I expected to visit. Antonio was amazing with telling the history of Puerto Plata. Definitely worth it. Would recommend to family, friends or anyone visiting.

This tour was phenomenal! Antonio was amazing and very knowledgeable throughout the entire tour.The views were spectacular from Mt. Isabel, the Umbrella St. to Fort San Felipe! The lunch, Rum factory and Chocolate factory was the icing on top of an amazing experience! I loved this tour! It was definitely a tour I’ll cherish forever.
