This tour is exclusive for cruise ship passengers. If you are not arriving by cruise ship please do not book this tour. Tour operate only when we have cruise ships in port. Pick up is at the main gate entrance of the pier. It is a very short walking distance from ... the cruise ship. Once at the entrance of the pier, you will see a Greenway Tours Guide holding a sign with your name. SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT PICKUP TIME All our pickup times are set to 8:00 AM by default. HOWEVER: If your ship arrives after 8:00 AM, the Pickup will be 30 minutes after ship arrival. You can book your tour and we will adjust the time accordingly with your ship arrival.   • Cahuita National Park

    Cahuita National Park is a terrestrial and marine national park in the Caribbean La Amistad Conservation Area of Costa Rica located on the southern Caribbean coast in Limón Province, connected to the town of Cahuita. Cahuita National Park is unique in Costa Rica for its close relationship with the community, an example of shared management between the community and government for a sustainable development at community level. Participation of park guards and community life stands out through a shared governance management. In this ecosystem, nestled in the Caribbean but with forest environment, you will find species such as raccoons, sloths, iguanas and basilisks. You will also notice snakes like tinsel and tamagá, and birds like the black hawk. Inside the park it is possible to perform recreational sports and hiking the trails, or simply enjoy the beaches swimming or sunbathing.

  • Tortuguero Canal

    Parque Nacional Tortuguero is a protected wilderness area on Costa Rica's northern Caribbean coast. Its beaches are famous nesting grounds for sea turtles, including endangered green turtles. The park's freshwater creeks and lagoons, which can be navigated by boat or canoe, shelter spectacled caimans and river turtles. The surrounding dense rainforest is also rich with wildlife, from monkeys to many bird species. Our tour includes a peaceful boat journey along the canals for admire the rich biodiversity of the area.

    Puerto Limón, commonly known as Limón, is the capital city and main hub of Limón province, as well as of the canton of Limón in Costa Rica. It is the seventh largest city in Costa Rica, with a population of over 55,000, and is home of the Afro-Costa Rican community. The caribbean province is a natural paradise, formed by a combination of dense jungles, imposing mountains, and paradisiac beaches. Limon has the highest percentage of protected land in Costa Rica, as well as a wide variety of flora and fauna. Its vegetation is exuberant as are the cultures throughout the province.

Great option for Limon, Costa Rica half day tour

This tour had a good itinerary, an entertaining driver, GATTO and a knowledgeable guide ARIEL we were happy that we selected this tour of Costa Rica. We saw city highlights, a plantation, the countryside, the ocean and rainforest, took a short boat trip, and enjoyed seeing numerous birds and animals. Excellent service.

Greenway Tour

We enjoyed our tour with Greenway Tours in Puntarenas, Costa Rica. It was a nice combination of activities with the walk through the rain forest and crossing the suspension bridges then the boat ride to see crocodiles and birds. Our guide, Josae, and driver, Gainer, were excellent. I would highly recommend them if you are every in Puntarenas.

Great Excursion, Great Guides!!

We took this excursion while on a Princess Cruise (not through Princess). It was a great tour. Saw a great variety of wildlife and how agriculture and farm’s work in the Limon area. Josue is very knowledgeable and explains things in an easy to understand format. Our driver was Franz and we was very efficient without being a speed demon! They were on time and fun to be around.

This was by far the BEST tour I have taken due to the expertise of our guide, Jesus. He was knowledgeable on all topics; history, animals, plants, etc. He was excited and made the adventure exciting. I suggest that he be promoted to instructor for new guides. He was sensitive to each guests need and to the group. He was able to adjust the program to avoid crowds and therefore making the experience fantastic for all of us. Bravo and congratulations. Our tour was on Dec 2, 2024.

We loved the river ride. We did not care for the national forest hike so much mostly because it was so hot but we did see sloths and other wildlife. Our guide was great.
