All were built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of Ancient Egypt. The site also includes several cemeteries and the remains of a workers village. The site is at the edges of the Western Desert, approximately 9 kilometers (5.6 mi) west of the Nile River in the city of Giza, and about 13 kilometers (8 mi) southwest of the city center of Cairo.

The Bent Pyramid is an ancient Egyptian pyramid located at the royal necropolis of Dahshur, approximately 40 kilometres south of Cairo, built under the Old Kingdom Pharaoh Sneferu (c. 2600 BC). The Red Pyramid, also called the North Pyramid, is the largest of the three major pyramids located at the Dahshur necropolis in Cairo, Egypt. Highly recommend this private tour. Well organised, seeing the great Giza pyramids and Sphinx and then driving through the beautiful villages along the Nile, visiting Saqqara and Memphis. Amazing day out, our guide Merna was fun and informative, telling us the history and stories throughout the day and taking fantastic pictures, she also brought us lunch and fresh dates with were delicious.

It was a really amazing trip for very reasonable price. Our driver Yahyaa was very helpful and respected all our preferences. We saw everything we wanted. He just asked if we would like to have shopping. Usually in Egypt tipping is a sort of blackmail. At this time we really wanted to give a gratitude even it wasn't asked!
