Overview

Encompassing everything Scottish. Our journey around the Highlands, will take you to Medieval Castles, breath taking scenery of Glens, Lochs, waterfalls and mountains alike. We will visit the historical sites at a leisurely pace and seek out our Highland coos for amazing photos. We only offer private tours, this keeps it personal and we are adaptable to where you wish to spend longer in one place and less time in another.

Itinerary

  • St Conan's Kirk

    St Conan's Kirk, voted by Architects as a top ten building in Scotland, and with a crypt with a bone from Robert the Bruce it's the most quirky building that is alike to a 'Game of Thrones' scene

  • Kilchurn Castle

    A great stop for photos, it was a formidable fortress in its time, surrounded on three sides by water. The English had a garrison here for over 200 years

  • Inveraray Castle & Gardens

    The iconic Inveraray Castle, it is one of the few castles still occupied, home to 'The Duke & Duchess of Argyle', also holding the title of Clan Chief of Clan Campbell's, it is their seat of power in the Highlands where they reside in the top two floors. The grounds, gardens, shop, cafe and toilets are open free to the public at no charge

  • Rest and be Thankful

    A quick photos of the fantastic scenery below. (800 ft above sea level), the views of the Glen below are stunning

  • Inveruglas

    Inveruglas Pyramid, this is a great vantage spot to admire Loch Lomond one of our largest freshwater lochs, holding more freshwater than all of the Lakes in England and Wales put together

  • Falls of Falloch

    A beautiful waterfall that feeds Loch Lomond

  • The Green Welly Stop

    An excellent stop for lunch and bathroom facilities, alternatively the award winning Real food cafe is across the road with Gluten free, Halal or Vegan options

  • Glencoe National Nature Reserve

    Several photo stops along the Glencoe mountain range including the famous ‘3 sisters’, hiding a secret valley behind them.

  • Castle Stalker

    Castle Stalker is the final stop, built by the McDougal clan in 1320, Monty Pythons holy grail was filmed here. Our stop will be at the cafe above it, providing us with an aerial view. Heading back to Oban we have a 30 minute drive

We had Corrine for our tour guide/driver and she was extremely knowledgeable about the areas we visited and extremely friendly and outgoing. Very easy to talk to and ask questions. The stops she picked for us to stop and take pictures at, were out of this world AMAZING! We couldn't have asked for a better day or tour guide. We will absolutely be asking for her again and recommending her to others!

The Scottish highlands in a day

The drive was everything listed. Truly beautiful scenery and unexpected delights along the way. Not least If which was how great the food was at the restaurant stop. A delightful day and Aiwyn was as nice as could be. I recommend this outing
