Our tour will take you from the glory days of the Roman Empire through to the sparkling inspiration of the Renaissance Period and back again, exploring how Rome’s many piazza’s - and the churches, fountains and statues that inhabit them - have played their part in cultivating the city’s rich and sprawling history. Meeting points

Your guide will be waiting for you at Piazza d'Aracoeli, underneath the trees of the open area on the side of the Vittoriano (big white building), holding a yellow flag or sign. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the starting time, late arrivals will not be eligible for a refund.

  • Monumento a Vittorio Emanuele II

    Rome's tallest building towers above the skyline and was built to commemorate the Unifaction of Italy, and Vittorio Emanuele.

  • Fontana di Trevi

    Undeniably one of Rome’s most romantic spots, the beautiful Fontana Di Trevi is the pinnacle of Baroque architecture. We'll spend around 30 minutes here, giving you time to throw coins, make wishes and visit our favourite gelato spot.

  • Chiesa di Sant'Ignazio di Loyola

    The Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola at Campus Martius is a Roman Catholic titular church, of deaconry rank, dedicated to Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Society of Jesus, located in Rome, Italy.

  • Pantheon (Pass By)

    Pantheon Surrounded by rustic cobbled alleyways, the towering Pantheon (formerly a Temple, nowadays a church) seems to appear from nowhere. Built by Emperor Hadrian nearly 2000-years-ago, it remains to this day the largest unreinforced concrete dome in the world. We will pass by the Pantheon and explore the surrounding square, spending around 20 minutes here in total.

    We finish on a high at the stunning and vibrant Piazza Navona - one of Rome’s most famous landmarks. Featuring three magnificent fountains and the classic Baroque church of Sant’Agnese in Agone. We’ll spend 20 minutes here before ending the tour - after which you can explore some of the many nearby bars and restaurants

Best tour of our time in Rome

Dinara was an expert tour guide. Smart, well spoken, engaging and very patient with tour members. She has a bright future in education. You must pay her more to keep her expertise.

The tour was amazing. So informative and fun, we couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. Eleonora was a gem, taking her time to explain everything in detail, answer any questions we had, and had an abundance of patience considering the three tired kids in tow whom she treated with such kindness and grace. We never felt rushed, and she went out of her way to make sure we were happy with our experience and learning Rome’s amazing history. She even recommended restaurants, and other areas of the city to see, with hints and tips on where to get the best views. By the time the tour ended we were sad to see her go, but happy to have gained a great friend! Couldn’t possibly recommend her more highly. An excellent experience worth every penny. Thank you Eleonora!

My wife and I had a great time on this private tour. Our guide, Dalila was excellent. She was extremely knowledgeable about all of the history, architecture, and cultural aspects of the city. She also gave us her personal list of recommended restaurants, bars, and things to see/do off the beaten path.
