Itinerary

  • Luxor Travels (Pass By)

    Private full day tour to see the highlights of the ancient West Bank and East Bank monuments in Luxor. These highlights include Valley of the Kings and Necropolis of Thebes, the Temple of Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the Colossi of Memnon and Karnak and Luxor Temples. You will be guided by a licensed Egyptologist tour guide and transported to all the sites by a private air-conditioned vehicle. This helps travelers find and book your experience, including at the destination. In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel in Luxor by an air-conditioned vehicle for a full guided trip of about 8 hours. First you will be transported to Karnak in the East Bank of Luxor. Karnak is a complex of temples and is simply one of the most beautiful ancient monuments in Egypt. After Karnak you will be taken to Luxor Temple, which is dedicated to the Theben Triad of Amun-Ra, Mut and Khonsu. Then, you will have a break to enjoy lunch. After lunch, you will visit the Necropolis of Thebes, the Valley of the Kings on the West Bank of Luxor. This is a must-see for Luxor travelers. After visiting the tombs you will be transported to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (Deir el Bahari), the only woman ever to reign over Egypt as Pharaoh. This queen was an ancestor of King Tutankhamun and belonged to the same dynasty.Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only woman ever to reign over Egypt as Pharaoh .. Afterwards, you will be taken to see the Colossi of Memnon, the two largest ancient statues in Egypt.   • Valley of the Kings

    In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel in central Luxor or harbor by an air-conditioned vehicle for a full guided trip of about 8 hours. First you will be transported to the Necropolis of Thebes, the Valley of the Kings on the West Bank of Luxor. This ancient necropolis is a must-see for Luxor travelers. There you visit four royal tombs, including the Tomb of Ramses, the Tomb of Horemheb, the Tomb of Merenptah .Valley of the Kings on the West Bank of Luxor.

  • Tomb of Ramses III

    The tomb of Ramesses III, designated as KV 11, is a complex system in the Valley of the Kings. It has been known since antiquity,the wonderful decorations include colourful painted sunken reliefs featuring the traditional ritual texts (Litany of Ra, Book of Gates etc) and Ramses before the gods. Unusual here are the secular scenes, in the small side rooms of the entrance corridor, showing foreign tributes, such as highly detailed pottery imported from the Aegean, the royal armoury, boats and, in the last of these side chambers, the blind harpists that gave the tomb one of its alternative names: ‘Tomb of the Harpers’

  • Tomb of Ramases IX

    Tomb of King Ramesses lX was the third pharaoh of the Twentieth Dynasty of the New Kingdom of Ancient Egypt. His name prior to assuming the crown was Amonhirkhopshef. He was the fifth son of Ramesses III and was appointed to the position of crown prince by the twenty-second year of his father's reign when all four of his elder brothers predeceased his promotion to crown prince . The tomb has so much colour and detail even the ceiling above the sarcophagi with its goddess Nut stretching across the space. The sarcophagus is one of the largest in the valley, even though some of the paintings have deteriorated this is one of the most decorated.

  • Tomb of Merenptah

    In Egyptian mythology, Ptah is the demiurge of Memphis, god of craftsmen and architects. In the or simply in its falcon form of the new deity, began to be placed in tombs to accompany and protect the dead on their journey to the West of Luxor .Tomb 8, which is located in the Valley of the Kings, was the burial place of the Pharaoh Merneptah and is the model of royal tombs Merneptah was a son of Ramesses II and Queen Isis-Nofret.the tomb was discovered by Howard Carter in 1903. Of coursethere is a material decrease in the number of lateral rooms, and a dramatic increase in the height of the corridors and rooms. He did away with the jogged axis used since the time of Horemheb and instead built the entire tomb on a single axis. Also, for the first time, the entrance was made considerably wider than earlier tombs .

Amazing! Very customized and knowledgeable. Ragab and his team are very responsive and good at customizing tours. The tour guide we had was hands down the best and most knowledgeable one during about two months in Africa. Could not be happier! Would highly recommend to book a tour with Luxor travels :)

Our guide, Khalid, did a great job sharing the history of Egypt with us. Out of the four tours we've taken while here, Khalid was by far the most informative guide. He also took amazing pictures for us. Karnak Temple is massive but we got plenty of time to roam and take pictures. The tombs at the Valley of the Kings were incredible. King Tut's tomb is incredibly small, so if you pay the extra 300£ to see it, don't get your hopes too high. Lunch wasn't bad either. It was a great tour.

Incredible! We had an egyptomogist with a masters degree as our guide, Khalid! He was so thorough in his history of each person and timelines. We finally understood how the people and stories we have already heard about, fit into a chronological time line. The sites were breath taking. Massive and still with original paintings. Khalid is great at taking beautiful pictures and answering any questions.

Private tour of west and east bank including Karnak, valley of the kings, temple of Hatshepsut and many more. Also a trip across the Nile and lunch over looking the Nile and the city. It was a very fast paced trip but that was just what me and husband wanted. To see khaild all the amazing sites of Luxor in one day. Our guide was fantastic, he had planned all the timing for all the attractions to prefection. We saw all the sites at there quietest times. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and also a great photographer and knew all the best places to take the best pictures. If you are looking to see the best of Luxor in a short amount of time I would highly recommend this tour. It’s tiring but totally worth it.
