    At 8:00 am Tour expert Tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan and drive to the south of Aswan which to enjoy Abu Simbel day tour from Aswan by air-conditioned vehicle. The two Temples of Abu Simbel, with their unique style, are considered to be the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. They reflect the glory and grandeur of the new Kingdom. The Egyptian government and UNESCO decided to co-operate in order to save these temples from the flood. The Temple of Ramses II was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and to Ramesses II himself. The great Abu Simbel temple is also called The Sun Temple of Ramses II.The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also Called Temple of Hathor who was the wife of the Sun God so in a symbolic way, the two Temples, that of Ramesses II and that of Nefertari, bring Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor and the Sun God together as one. Nefertari Nefertari, also known as Nefertari Meritmut, was an Egyptian queen and the first of the Great Royal Wives (or principal wives) of Ramesses the Great.[1] Nefertari means 'beautiful companion' and Meritmut means 'Beloved of [the goddess] Mut'. She is one of the best known Egyptian queens, among such women as Cleopatra, Nefertiti, and Hatshepsut, and one of the most prominent not known or thought to have reigned in her own right. She was highly educated and able to both read and write hieroglyphs, a very rare skill at the time. She used these skills in her diplomatic work, corresponding with other prominent royals of the time. Her lavishly decorated tomb, QV66, is one of the largest and most spectacular in the Valley of the Queens. Ramesses also constructed a temple for her at Abu Simbel next to his colossal monument there.

We had a great experience on the Abu Simbel tour and would highly recommend it to anyone who is seeking a Private tour + Guide to this amazing place. Samir who was our guide was extremely knowledgable to took the time to explain everything in great detail. As no tour guides were allowed inside the temples and it was extremely hot outside, Samir spent time on the drive there explaining everything, which allowed us to go straight to the sites and look at everything properly without having to stand outside in the sun. At no part of this tour did we ever feel rushed. Samir provided us with as much time as we wanted to explore the temples as much as we wanted. Ahmed who was our driver was also very professional and took care of us during out trip.

Great tour - highly recommend!

Driver and guide were on time and we arrived to the site before it was extremely crowded. It is a long drive from Aswan, roughly 3 hours, but you can sleep or relax during the drive time. The guides cannot come in and talk in the temples, but she walked us to the entrance and provided detailed information with pictures. We were given an hour to explore, might need 1.5 if it is extremely busy. Instead of just taking us to shops like some other guides, she asked what we would like to do and did not put pressure on us if we didn't want to go perfume shops, etc. They also did customize it to our liking and let us stop at an electronics store and a safe ATM. We did not feel rushed overall. I would recommend this tour!

Great ride, the driver played music in our language, covered windows to avoid sunlight while driving through the desert. He made us feel comfortable in such a long ride.

Samir is a kind person who went and above and beyond as our guide in Aswan. Hamo, our driver for all of needs in Aswan, was also kind, helpful, and wonderful. Samir shared quite a bit of information with us regarding the historical landmarks in Egypt. He also spoiled us with snacks and treats during our tours with him. While he was not able to enter the temples with us, he provided us with a map to guide us in everything there is to see in the temples. Both gentlemen made us feel comfortable and safe during our visit in Aswan.
