Overview

On this tour we will go to a treasure in the middle of all the places on the long white beach, I call it the best place in BarĂº because they are the most beautiful facilities on the entire beach, you will not worry about being harassed by vendors, the food is delicious, the attention is special and the sea is turquoise. Then we will go to the Aviary optionally, which is the second largest bird sanctuary in South America. Colombia is the country that concentrates the largest number of registered birds in the world. There you can marvel at seeing endemic birds and exotic birds; flamingos, toucans, macaws, emus, dancing peacocks, etc. Important Note: We provide this experience in private circles for your safety and comfort.     On our journey to BarĂº we will pass through popular neighborhoods of the city, we will pass through the industrial zone until we reach one of the most beautiful beaches in Cartagena and the best beach club on the island of BarĂº.

  • Aviario Nacional de Colombia

    We will make a stop of about 1 or 2 hours to see the second largest aviary in South America, there we will see flamingos, toucans, peacocks, macaws, among others. If travelers are not interested in going to the Aviary then we will spend more hours at the BarĂº beach club.

Don't skip the Aviary

The Aviary is amazing and not easy to get to on your own. Do not skip it. David was an excellent guide. He knew the ins and outs of the beach club and the Aviary. John, our driver, was also wonderful. Highly recommend!

Aviary and Baru - Amazing!

Maria loves what she does and it shows! We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with her. After seeing all the work involved, we are so, so happy we didn’t try to do this on our own. It’s all very confusing if you are not from the area. The Aviary is a must see experience! We have travelled all over the world and Playa Blanca has some of the prettiest water we’ve ever seen. It’s pricey, but to see both, it’s so worth it! Maria, you are the best and we will recommend you to everyone!

Maria was magnificent!!!!! She communicated everything we needed and what was to be expected. She also gave suggestions about things we could do and opportunities we could take advantage of while in the areas we were in. She was very knowledgeable of things as far as timing and keeping us on a schedule that didn’t seemed stressful and allowed us to enjoy each thing we did.
