    Milano's Duomo cathedral is one of the world's most photogenic churches. It's a place to contemplate Milanese culture and it has been the backdrop for many films, including King Vidor's epic, War and Peace.

    The Pinacoteca di Brera is one of the most prestigious museums in Italy, and it houses a number of paintings from the 16th to 18th century. . One of the most famous paintings is a Caravaggio painting entitled The Taking of Christ. The painting was commissioned by a patron of the artist, Vittorio Emmanuele II, who would later also become king in 1796.

    The Castello Sforzesco is a fortress, built on the site of a medieval castle, in Milan. It has housed the Sforza-Visconti family and their court since 1395. , and has been the official residence of the head of the House of Sforza since 1450. However, by 1625 it was too deteriorated to be habitable, and was abandoned. It still stands in a ruined state and is now owned by the city government. The Castello is situated on a hill overlooking Piazza della Scala and Via Garibaldi.

We had a wonderful time with our visit of Milan. Our guide was perfect. She showed so many aspects of the city, taking into account what we have already seen. She was deeply interesting, very smart and very caring. We thank her a lot. And also the driver who was also very caring.

Our local guide and driver were professional, appropriately dressed and knowledgeable. We were able to see all places of interest in Milan and learned about them too. Highly recommend this tour.
