Overview

Arrive in style at Willie Creek Pearl Farm after a spectacular helicopter flight up Cable Beach, overflying the farm to see the incredible colours and patterns in Willie Creek and maybe spot the croc! You'll then join the award winning land and marine based Pearl Farm tour to get a unique insight into modern cultured pearl farming, and what makes the perfect pearl. Lunch is served at the end of the tour and includes a complimentary beverage (beer, wine or soft drink). There are three delicious and fresh lunch platter options to choose from; From the Earth – Vegetarian, From the Land – Meat, and From the Sea – Seafood. On the return flight to Broome, you’ll see the beautiful white sands of Cable Beach, stunning red cliffs at Gantheaume Point, and breathtaking views of Broome Jetty and the azure waters of Roebuck Bay.

  • Individual seat limit of 136kg max. Passengers will be weighed on arrival and if exceeding this limit the tour will be cancelled, and no refund provided.
  • Maximum of 3 passengers per tour, and all passenger weights combined cannot exceed 250kg.
  • A maximum of 2 children (neither can be infants) may sit side by side on one seat, provided their combination weight does not exceed 77kg and the seatbelt, when fastened, restrains both children in the seat. A child means a person who has turned 2 but has not turned 13 years of age. Children must be accompanied by an adult!
  • An infant is a person who has not turned 2 years of age and can be carried in the arms or on the lap of a restrained adult and provided with a supplemental loop belt also referred to as an infant seat belt. Infants will not be carried in company aircraft unless accompanied by one parent or responsible adult.

The helicopter flight and informative Willie Creek Pearl tour were an excellent way to spend a day in Broome

Great experience. The flight up was OK, but the flight back included a fly over Broome with commentary ands was excellent. This was early in our stay and provided a good base and background for our other excursions. The pearl farm was good with lots of information and the tour finiished in the gift shop.

Awesome day all round. Abby got us there and back. Great flight. Tour of the Willie Creek facility was money well spent. Definitely fly with KAS again.

Fantastic excursion. The flight there with Rob from KAS was good in a Robinson helicopter with excellent commentary from Rob the pilot. Penny was our guide at Willie Creek and her knowledge was outstanding. The tour was well constructed with an overview of pearl farming, morning tea, aride in a punt to sea the long lines and learn more about conditions and aquatic farming. This was followed by an exp.anation of seeding and harvesting. We finished by seeing a pearl harvest and then the obligatory tour of the gift shop where the 5 criteria for a great pearl and some examples were shown, including a 22mm pearl worth $250k.

The views over Broome were amazing. Spectacular colours contrasting the ocean, land, beach and creek. Our pilot Rob was informative, friendly and had a good sense of humour. The team at Willie Creek were fantastic, as was the information relayed to us regarding the creation of their beautiful pearls. A special mention to pommy Johnny for his repartee. It was a wonderful highlight of our trip to Broome. I highly recommend this tour.
