Overview

Charles Bridge, Old Town & Jewish Quarter, "Prague Venice" river boat cruise and Prague Castle all in one. This is our unique "3-in-one" day tour concept: Start with a walking tour of the iconic CHARLES BRIDGE, explore Prague’s charming Old Town district, learn more about the major historical events, see famous sights like the ASTRONOMICAL CLOCK and JEWISH QUARTER, as well as the more hidden parts away from all the crowds and chaos. Then hop aboard a river boat, sit and relax while you cruise the waterways of the Čertovka canal, the so-called Prague Venice. After a break, enjoy the best of PRAGUE CASTLE – we cover castle grounds and exteriors to learn about its medieval foundation, imperial city age, world wars and communism era, to the 1989 Velvet Revolution and modern governmental democracy. We cover both the main sights and off the beaten path – the locals way!

Meeting points

The address is Mostecka 4. Headed from Old Town, you need to cross over Charles Bridge to the Prague Castle side. Headed from tram stop "Malostranske namesti", it’s 5 minutes walk through Mostecka Street. Meet us in the Charles Bridge Economic Hostel office just 20 meters from bridge towers.

Charles Bridge

ON THIS TOUR: This is our 3-in-one tour concept! As part of a smaller group with local expert guide, you cross Prague’s oldest and most iconic bridge, explore the main sights and hidden gems of Old Town district. You hear about key moments in Prague history, local stories, fun facts and interesting bits. The second part is a river/ canal boat cruise around the Charles Bridge area. After a "lunch break", you finish with the Prague Castle 2-hours long guided tour.

Old Town is a labyrinth of little cobbled streets, passages and hidden courtyards - on our one of a kind route, get to see both main sights and off the beaten path!

Theatre Des Etats

The Estates Theatre was built during the late 18th century in response to Enlightenment thought regarding general access to the theatre, and theatres themselves demonstrating the cultural standards of a nation. One of the Estates Theatre’s many claims to glory is its strong link with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, who conducted the world premiere of his opera Don Giovanni here in October 1787.

Devil's Channel

Enjoy the Vltava river and waterways of "Certovka" canal, this is a 45 minute boat cruise with audio commentary, free snack and drink.

Lesser Town

After the boat cruise, we have approx. 1 hour long "refreshment" break. We will give you food recommendations, so you can grab the lunch before we meet again at Mostecka 4 office and continue.

The route includes such high-profile sights as the Saint Vitus Cathedral (including entry hall interior), Old Royal Palace, St. George Basilica and more, it features famous figures like Charles IV., Vaclav Havel, Rudolf II., Franz Kafka and others. These are Prague castle grounds and exteriors.

Can't say enough good things about PragueWay! Our tour guide, Sebastian, was incredible and we had the best day with him. Would absolutely book again with him. Fun and witty and really kept the group engaged.

An incredible day in Prague

What an incredible day—a truly full and enriching experience! The morning tour with Seb was both informative and fun. Seb was an excellent guide, offering us a unique and engaging perspective. The boat ride on the Charles River provided a wonderful and relaxing break while also being quite informative. Finally, our two hours at the castle with Ella were fantastic. Ella was thoughtful, knowledgeable, and brought the history to life beautifully. It was the perfect way to kick off our trip to Prague! We would highly recommend this experience to anyone coming to Prague - it is a long day and lots of steps, but really worth it!
