Northern Lights

A rescheduled tour around Alta as it turned out. The weather was really dreadful on the night with high winds and most of the roads in and out of Alta closed so Kjell Ă…ge had to think of something else. Did a great job keeping us entertained.

GREAT TRIP, GREAT PEOPLE

We booked a night tour with Kjell Ă…ge Holten and it was a great experience. At night due to the snowy weather we had to do a shortened trip but the guide still picked us up from our accommodation and was able to entertain us with stories and tales of the people, the city and the family. His friendliness and helpfulness were limitless: the next day we were able to spend more time in nature to show us what the landscape and the people of Alta have to offer. I recommend this trip for anyone who wants to know the city and see incredible landscapes accompanied with kindness.

I loved Alta and I want to return to visit again. I loved the Dog Sledding at Holmen Huskey Lodge. The Huskeys were so sweet and loving. I highly recommend visiting Alta.

No Northern Lights, still great experience

It was very cloudy and I was the only one that booked the tour, however the tour operator still went above and beyond to give me a memorable experience. We went to different locations to look for the Northern Lights and when it was quite sure it would be unsuccessful I was also taken to other places like the fishery where I got a lot of information about the culture of Alta. Very very kind and welcoming tour operator.

It was very good. Unfortunately it is not a guarantee to see the northern lights, but the guide makes an effort to show the northern lights. We had luck with the northern lights.
