Overview

Learn how to cook an authentic Louisiana meal in this 3-Hour New Orleans cooking class. An expert chef will guide you and a group of, at most, 10 people through various recipes. Wine and beer are included in the price, and you can take your recipe and apron home with you after the class. Choose from multiple departure times and meals upon booking.

Itinerary

Cook & eat an authentic Louisiana meal! In this highly interactive class, our guests actually cut, season and prepare a complete dinner with one an expert chef, and afterwards they are able to sit down and enjoy the meal they have just created. These small intimate classes have a maximum of 10 people utilizing 5 cooktops. Singles may be paired with another individual. Price includes red and white wine and Abita Amber Beer (a local brew) and you'll even take home your recipes and apron!

This was an awesome experience. Booked this with my husband and had a great time with Chef Maria V. She is fascinating to listen to and was great at helping us cook a pork chop (something I was pretty intimidated by!). Met some great people in our class as well, only had 6 ppl in our session so it was pretty intimate. Food was amazing, portions were great. Would highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting NOLA!

Chef Maria was amazing. Food we cooked was delicious and what a great group to cook with. Will book again next time. I urge you to take a cooking class at the New Orleans Cooking School in the French Quarter. You won’t be disappointed.

We did a hands on cooking class and it was fantastic! Chef Tom gave us a great overview of the history of New Orleans food. We made seafood gumbo, crawfish pie, and crepes with bananas foster. The class size was 10 people and each group of two had a cooking station. It was really fun and delicious!
