Recommended value for money experience to Mysuru

We booked a last minute tour to explore Mysuru and Srirangapatna and it turned out to be an amazing experience. Our guide Mr Suresh was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, making the day enjoyable. The tour kicked off with an early 7am start and it was well worth it. Our driver arrived promptly at our hotel in the Whitefield area ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey. We also enjoyed lunch at a lovely restaurant. The entire experience was great value for money and the highlight of our day was undoubtedly the beautiful Mysuru Palace.

I had a great time on my trip to Mysore. Many people recommended going and I'm glad I did. There was a guide for each location. I would have had great difficulty if I had tried to visit several of the locations on my own. Rajesh was the driver and new where to park to visit the Sri Chamundeshwari Temple. This saved us a lot of time as there was a lot of traffic to visit the temple. The Mysuru Palace was also extremely busy and the guide new several tricks to save us time. The entire day worked out very well. I was also happy with the locations that were selected for the tour.

The driver drove safely and the guide (Ragu) was very knowledgeable. He provided a lot of information about the sights, particularly about their history. He also provided a lot of information about India's society and their customs, which provided a very interesting context to understand the history of all places. I enjoyed visiting all sights, specially the Mysore Palace, which is a very impressive site, up to par to European palaces.

The trip was well organized and led by a very knowledgeable and courteous guide Mr Suresh. He has extensive knowledge of Srirangapatna, its strategic significance, Tippu Sultan’s legacy and more. The same applies to Mysore. We learned a lot from him. Overall an excellent trip organized by holiday forever India.
