    Discover a different side to Mykonos, far-removed from the glitzy image of the island. This family run bakery still operates using traditional methods & is the oldest one on the island and generations ago it relied on wheat ground in the Windmills fuelled by the "Meltemi" winds.

    The Windmills of Mykonos are the all time classic symbol of the island, known as the island of winds. Built in 16th century and until late 19th century, the Windmills show the locals' great use of innovation in their effort to harness the enormous power of the wind for island's survival and trade from Venetian's time and onward.

    See one of the most famous landmarks of the island, Little Venice. Here the buildings have been constructed right on the sea's edge with their balconies overhanging the water. During the 16th and 17th century pirating was common and it is believed this area was used for the necessary quick loading and unloading of goods.

Such a beautiful island. Loved this tour. Our guide and driver were great and helpful. Magda, the representative of Vexperio, assisted us with booking a few more tours on our route, and she was so patient with all our questions. Our guide Andrea/Angela (?) showed us the entire island in the short time we had, and gave us so much background on histoty. Easy to join, very affordable. Highly recommend!!!!

This tour was incredible. The tour guide was the best I have ever met in my travels, anpassionate local with deep love for her home (although I unfortunately cannot recall her name). Our group was very small which made it very intimate and fun. It was so much better value than what the ships offer!!
