Overview

Its a jungle experience near to Puerto Maldonado and very close to the National Reserve with chance to see monkeys, caimans, turtles and join the river from our kayaks. Our guides know very well the are because all are locals

Itinerary

9:10 am ( according to your hotel location will be a bit earlier o bit later), wi will pick up travellers, by car on the way to river port them we will take our motor boat for around 55 minutes, always searching for wildlife until arrive to the canopy walk bridge, where we have chance to join the forest over 35 mts high, very close is located the monkey island, where with luck we can see 3 different types of tropical monkeys us capuchin, tamarinds an squirrel monkeys. we stimated back to Puerto Maldonado around 1:20 pm.

Joss the guide was amazing and the full day was long but also absolutely amazing!! We saw loads of different animals and it was better than expected even!

Joss was the best tour guide! I love his love for the jungle and his knowledge on the plants, fruits, and animals we came across! He went out of his way to celebrate my mom's birthday and during lunch brought out a FULL absolutely delicious cake with a candle and helped me sing for her! The entire day and experience was absolutely amazing and worth every penny and second!!!! Be sure to take bug spray! we are still itching our lives away from the mosquitoes, but oddly you dont notice them as much while you are there, you will just notice all the bites afterwards lol. They also oddly start itching more a day or two after, but that is not to say this experience is beyond worth it! I would come back and do the 3-4 day one as well if and when I could!

All three of us are very impressed with Charlie and his crew! Starting from the punctual (!) pickup in the morning, we were provided with fantastic care, views and first-hand fun-facts throughout the day. Special thanks to the guide Wally with whom we had the pleasure of spending time in the jungle and on the river. We were supposed to stay until the early afternoon but after a delicious, homemade lunch and thanks to the wonderful atmosphere, we decided to admire the sunset from the boat deck and then search for nocturnal animals together. All in all highly recommended!
